Moira sighes as she gazes at the glass doors in front of her. She and Daria had agreed to meet there and Moira was not even sure if she was late or not, seeing she wasn't wearing a watch.

She reaches out to pull open the glass doors, stopping to pull the glass door open.

Crap you were supposed to call her when you got here...

Moira groans aloud as she releases the door and steps away from from the enterance while she thinks about where her cell phone is. She finds it in the pocket of her jacket, which she had retrieved along with her phone, earlier that day.

We don't use these contraptions, but if I want to fit in, I have to have one. sje thought as she flips it open and calls Daria's number

{Before Jade can answer, her phone begins to ring. The ringtone tells her it's a new contact. In other words, someone she doesn't have logged in her list yet. She pulls it from her purse and opens the device, which immediately picks up the phone call. "Hello?" She says into the speaker, turning to Jade still awaiting her answer. }

Moira takes a deep breath and replys, "Hi Daria it's Moira, We are meeting at the mall right?"

Moira leans against the building, her ankles croseed and her eyes watching the people around her.

{ Daria smiles when she hears Moira's voice. She sounded a little nervous, her words a little run-together. "Hey, Moira! Yes, but you were gonna call me first, remember?" She pauses smiling. "I was actually just on my way there with Rebecca." She informs her new elvin friend as she looks up at the woman. She nods her head towards the entrance to the cafe, indicating Jade should follow her. She holds the door for the woman to go through before leading her to her car parked in the streets. }

Moira frowns slightly as she listens, Her eyes follow some of the people milling around nearby with interest.

"Okay. I forgot. I sorta got distracted. Wasn't Rebecca the obnoxous one from earlier?" she asks as she stolls up and down the pavenent.

{ Daria holds her cell to her ear as she speaks with Moira on the other end, leading Jade towards her car. She sets her purse on the hood of the car as she rummages around in it to find her keys. Finding them quickly, she runs her finger over the portion of the little square tag thing that unlocks the door and opens the driver side. "It's unlocked." She says to Jade, pulling the speaker portion of the phone away from her mouth quickly as she says it.

Daria laughs a little, not really wanting to let on what Moira seemed to think about the girl. "I guess ... " She says as she climbs into the car and shuts it behind her. "Where are you?" She inquires, not really wanting to be on the phone as she drives. }

Moira is no dummy. She senses that Daria is holding back, but she says nothing right off. In reply to the question she says, "I'm outside the main doors, people watching while I wait."

Gods, let's hope it doesn't rain. she thinks as she paces the pavement.

{ "Okay, we'll be there in about five minutes, okay?" She says, not really looking for permission. Only confirmation. She sticks the keys into the car and turns it on. It hovers above the ground. "We're just over at Nova Cafe." She says, glancing back at the coffee shop. She checks her mirros and chair positioning. A habit. She had to be safe. }

Moira nods as she speaks. "I'll be here waiting. "

Her eyes continue to follow the stream of people as she contines to pace.

{ "Alright, see you then." Daria says with a smile. "Bye." She says, ending the conversation by closing the phone. }

Moira laughs as she takes the phone from her ear. She flips it closed with a flick of her wrist and then she places it in her jacket pocket.

She contiues to pace, her mind rolling over recent events. Things felt weird to her upon her arrival here at the mall, though the people she spent time watching did not seem to notice.

I wonder how things are at home, with what happened and all. But then again humans have always feared what they do not understand.

“Moira!” Jade calls as she approaches the entrance of the building. The Elvin woman is in sight, standing just outside the glass doors. “Hey” She flashes the woman a grin, her head casually tossing a glance to see how far Daria is behind her. (That conversation was just getting interesting…maybe this is my destiny. Maybe I needed to go through what I could so that I’d be here, to meet Daria; so that we could bring down the academy together…) “Sorry we kept you waiting” Jade stops beside Moira, her amber orbs dazzling with warmth. She’s changed a lot in the space of a couple hours. She is now free to be herself and just enjoy life. It’s amazing how much of a weight has lifted off her shoulders.

As Daria approaches only a few feet behind Jade, she offers Moira a smile. "Yeah, parking's a bitch." She says. "Had to circle the lot a few times before I saw someone pull out of a space." She glances back and is glad that the car is well hidden behind a line of trees, so Moira wouldn't have seen them talking in the car.

She observes Jade's new behaviour and is very impressed with how much she has opened up. Even her steps seemed more free. It was a wonderful sight. (Oh, shit! How are we going to ...) Daria remembers that she's the only one who knows Jade's real name. (Shit.) Instead, she just smiles at Moira. "Hope you weren't waiting too long ..." She says with full sincerity. She secures her purse over her shoulder and looks between the two women. "So, I'm thinking the first order of business is food of some sort." She suggests. "I don't know abotu you, but a Chai Latte and a dooughnut are just not enough to fill me up." She explains.
