Clark McGowan - October 24, 2007 12:03 AM (GMT)
Clark pulls the door open with little effort. He steps inside of the shop.
Aleron Deveaux - November 19, 2007 02:45 PM (GMT)
Standing in front of the door, Aleron peers in through the window. (Occult shop...Okay, I guess that could be a good sign...) He thinks to himself, reaching forward and opening the door. As he does so, he is greeted by the sounds of a low tune, and the voices of Clark and Celeste who are already in the shop. His eyes scan around the shop one last time before taking a small breath. Silently praying that this wasn't some trap set up by a demonic cult that was after him, he nods his head once to himself for reassurance and heads inside.
Mirella Raine - December 21, 2007 10:36 PM (GMT)
Mirella opens the door to the large building which appeared to be a house at one point in time. As she steps onto the Main Level, she takes in every detail of the place. It was beautiful, elegant in its own way. Whoever owned it kept it up nicely. She briefly wondered if the same people owned the store. Sisters, is what she could remember, though not how many. They were always very mysterious and she shied away from them. But now was not a time to be shy. SHe'd grown a lot since then. She wasn't really that shy person anymore.
Jenna Bell - December 23, 2007 12:31 AM (GMT)
Out of curiosity Jenna’s eyes glance down at the bags she is carrying. Her mind ticks away at the possibilities that have opened up to her now. She can fully delve into her craft now without any fear of being prosecuted. (Finally I can find out more about who I really am…) The blond internally muses as she pushes open the front door and steps out to the parking lot. She hopes that this new journey into her identity will bring her success in all areas.
Construction - January 2, 2008 03:48 AM (GMT)
[Thanks to the powers of the Wyrd Sister Celeste, the front entrance of the Shadow's Mistress is now locked and the sign reads C L O S E D.]
Venus D'Kenn - February 6, 2008 04:47 PM (GMT)
Venus finds herself emerging out of the darkness of the night as she slinks up to the front entrance of the occult shop. (Shadow's Mistress? How awful.) Her lips part to a sneer. She regards herself higher than this seeming cliché of the occult. She stops when she reaches the door. Closed. As she had intended.
The dark sorceress had spent a good deal of time searching through the company names listed in the phone book for any occult places. She was told that the Queen's Heart was supposedley here, in San Fransisco. It seemed logical to begin the search with occult shops, then perhaps thin down to general jewellry stores and then maybe even pawn shops. It was a plan to visit each shop in turn during the dead of night and force her way inside, searching through the goods to find what she wanted. It wasn't like any of these occult shops were actually run by real wiccans. She was wrong of this one though, quite badly wrong, infact.
The door is locked, and she knows without checking due to the 'closed' sign so visible in the glass. Time for action, but first to check. She's not the type to barge in without making sure she's alone. Venus leans her face closer to the shop window, an attempt to see inside the main shop of Shadow's Mistress.
Luna - February 14, 2008 09:06 PM (GMT)
Luna bobs along the pavement towards the entrance of the occult store. She’s been summoned back to the shop by the sisters for god knows why. The women are hardly the most talkative people she knows and are certainly not prone to explaining themselves, not that Luna would dare have the courage to ask. But here she is, prepared to deal with whatever challenge the coven is set. She shuffles towards the door, something suddenly becoming apparent to her. (Who’s that?) The red head questions with a raised brow, her eyes fixed on the Elvin sorceress who is peering through the window to the store. (Perhaps the fifth member?) The illusionist doesn’t ask though; she figures that if she is the last member then she will soon be joining her inside, so Luna simply pushes open the door and enters.
Julianna - February 21, 2008 10:33 PM (GMT)
After parking her car, Julianna approaches the shop's single entrance located around front, with Thomas and Tess the cat a step behind. Pocketing her keys and turning the corner, the aero witch is greeted by the unexpected sight of a woman peering into the shop. Taken aback by this, she comes to a stop and watches the woman for a moment, wondering who she is. (Weird. Doesn't she know the place is closed?)
Sharing an exchange of looks with Thomas, Julianna moves forward, intent on helping this woman. Or preventing her from robbing the place. Whichever.
"Excuse me. Miss?" Julianna calls out clearly before she even physically nears the woman. No need to startle a potential threat. Drawing closer, Jules's facial expression is soft and kind. "Do you need some help?"
Thomas - February 29, 2008 03:32 AM (GMT)
Thomas was anxious to get inside the shop and meet the new members of the coven therefore when Julianna takes the time to stop to interrogate some random woman that is peering into the shop he gives her a, what the hell? look before she leaves his side. (She’s probably just window shopping, probably should just leave her alone.) Thomas heads for the front door too anxious to wait. “I’ll meet you inside babe.” Thomas opens the door and heads inside.
Venus D'Kenn - March 1, 2008 04:51 PM (GMT)
Venus straightens herself up and turns toward the gentle female voice she hears. Indeed, the sight she sees matches the voice. Julianna is indeed pretty, and full of warmth in her expressions. (How tragic.) Despite her actual attitude, Vanus disguses her feelings of superiority as she gives Julianna an almost smile. I say almost.
"I know it's late, but I was just trying to make some purchases." She gestures at the door beside her. "The sign said that the establishment was closed, but there do seem to be quite a few people making their way into the shop..." She allows that sentance to hang, trying to find out if they too were customers, or if something else was going on within the confines of the shop.
Julianna - March 7, 2008 06:42 PM (GMT)
"That's right. It's closed until morning..." Julianna inserts the word in between, hoping to cut off the conversation there, but Venus keeps going. Internally, the aero witch sighs, not liking where this is going at all. However, being the person that she is, Jules offers a smile and nods sympathetically with this woman's questions. It did make sense afterall she supposed.
"Yes, well, we work for the sisters who own the shop and we all get together once a week. Anyways..." Julianna quickly takes the opportunity to move things along. The sisters had made it sound urgent that they get here. "The shop opens at ten tomorrow... well, today would be more accurate I suppose. So if you come back then I'm sure that we will be able to help you with whatever it is that you need."
Venus D'Kenn - March 10, 2008 03:40 PM (GMT)
"There's not chance of me just slipping in there quietly and looking for that certain something?" Venus knows the answer, but still, she may as well ask. She provides her sentance with just the right afflections and highlights so that it sounds as if she's slightly concerned, innocent and just perusing. Oh, she's mighty convincing. Sure, she's evil, and a fight with everyone in the shop would be quite fun, but she's not that stupid. There are far more people within than just her single form. She would be out-numbered without doubt. If they were witches or no.
Julianna - March 11, 2008 05:48 AM (GMT)
There's a small flicker of suspicion in Julianna's eyes, no longer sure if she trusts the 'innocence' of this woman. The situation had been strange to begin with, but Venus' persistence is more than a red flag - it's a blazing neon sign. Though, just in case she is wrong, Julianna continues in a civil manner, but is prepared to unleash her power if needed.
"I'm sorry. We've been closed for more than two hours already. Everything's closed up and shut down for the night." Julianna keeps her tone sympathetic but firm. She really could not sit out here and argue with this woman all night. "Sorry."
Venus D'Kenn - March 11, 2008 02:01 PM (GMT)
"Okay then, if there's nothing you can do." Venus once again gives an almost smile. I doubt her face could actually cope with the strain of supporting a real one. She looks at the window, cursing the situation in her mind. She had wanted to get things done then, not have to wait the hours until the shop once again openned it's doors, and then she'd have someboy over her shoulder anyway. (Perhaps I'll have to come in the dead of night tomorrow also, and hope there isn't some kind of after-school activity going on again.)
"Well, thank you for your help." Venus nods her head, closing her almond shaped eyes until she raises them to look at Julianna again. "It is much appreciated." The words come out sincere enough, despite the venomous bile they feel like they're filling Venus' stomach with. (Niceties are so saccharin sweet.)
Julianna - March 18, 2008 04:45 PM (GMT)
"You're welcome." Julianna gives a slight nod of her head before turning away from Venus and heading for the door. She makes a mental note to inform the Sisters - as well as the other Coven members - of this strange woman outside their shop. She comes up to the door and places a hand on the handle.
Julianna takes the opportunity to pause and glance back at Venus one last time, studying her for a brief moment. Then, pulling the door open, Julianna enters the shop and heads for the group gathered on the main level.
Venus D'Kenn - March 30, 2008 04:05 PM (GMT)
Venus grimmaces. (Well, that certainly was fruitless.) She's angered rather than dissapointed that she couldn't break into the shop easily and hunt down her treasure. The treasure of the Queen had to be hers, and there was no mistaking, she would find it. Turning on her heels, Venus begins to walk away from the shop front, casting one more glance inward toward the gathered group inside. (There is indeed something going on in that place... A coven of witches, perhaps. It is a magic shop, after all. Perhaps it is only a group of deluded individuals wishing to cast hippy magic and make-believe invocations. Some mortals have no idea the magic that courses through people.)
A dignified sigh escapes her lips, and Venus turns on her heels to make her way back to the parking lot.
