Title: Entrance
Description: Outside
Construction - March 19, 2007 01:43 PM (GMT)
[A glass door marks the main entrance into the restaurant. Seat yourself at the tables or the bar.]
Jenna Bell - August 8, 2007 10:38 PM (GMT)
Jenna glides towards the front entrance of Quake, her blue eyes peering through the glass door into the restaurant eagerly. (I’m starving…I hope it’s not too busy. I really need to get over to the employment agency before all the good jobs are taken) The blonde slides her hand into her jacket pocket, checking that the bit of paper with the agency’s address is still there. Feeling the paper against her skin, a small smile spreads across her face and she enters the building. Jenna needs a job desperately, she didn't after all go through all that higher education to sit around unemployed. (This place is nice, I'll have to come back again sometime...) Slowly closing the door behind her, the Witch turns, heading over towards the tables.
Sebastian Decorde - August 9, 2007 07:14 AM (GMT)
With a small yawn hidden behind his hand, Sebastian makes his way towards Quake well aware of the rumblings in his stomach. (Right, I'll just grab something to eat before stopping into the station. Let's hope I manage to avoid any stains. I doubt they lend to good first impressions.) A coy smile parts his lips. Sebastian wasn't overly comfortable in his current ensemble, though he knows that his new job does require the the shirt and tie along with the dress pants and shoes he currently dons.
(Small price to pay for keeping the city safe bigwig. Might as well get used to it now.)
With a small shake of his head, Sebastian reaches out and gently pulls the door open while entering the restaurant. After a brief glance behind to ensure the door has closed he continues on to the tables.
Vanessa Darkholme - August 13, 2007 05:39 PM (GMT)
Vanessa makes her way down the last bit of the street outside Quake, her walk is quick and determined. Her long, red hair and jacket flow out behind her, moved by the artificial wind she creates with her movement and the gentle breeze. As always, she walks with her back straight and her chin held high. Unlike most people, Vanessa has been awake for 3 hours already and has had time to wake up and get her body fully functioning. There are certain advantages to waking up early, the main one – in Vanessa’s opinion – is it means that there’s more time to go shopping, even if she’s not going to buy anything, she has more time to go look at shoes and other clothes.
Without breaking her pace, Vanessa opens the door and walks inside to the tables. The door swings open as she passes through and then swings back into place. She doesn’t check whether or not the door has closed, or show any concern for anyone who may be walking behind her. Visiting Quake has become part of her morning routine on her days off, as much a part as waking up and getting out of bed.
Aleron Deveaux - August 16, 2007 07:09 AM (GMT)
As Aleron walks along the streets of the Fishermen's Wharf, a small sigh escapes his lips as he looks into the windows of the popular restaurant, Quake. Having been recommended to stop by here for their grand breakfast foods by the small tourist guide he picked up, Aleron silently hopes that it isn't too crowded. However, by the time he reaches the front doors, he can already tell that he isn't one of the earliest customers. "I guess I should have come earlier..." He mumbles, looking into the restaurant from the glass door. As he opens the doors, he spots the two waiters and the customers inside. With another soft sigh, he pulls the doors open full and walks in, heading towards the tables.
Luna - September 16, 2007 10:51 PM (GMT)
The vibrant red head comes to a stop at the door of Quake. She takes a quick look around then immediately raises her hand to her mouth, chewing on a small bit of nail she has. (Was I suppose to go in? Or wait here... I don't remember) Letting her thoughts argue with themselves for a while, she looks to the door, then down the sidewalk. Go in? Wait outside? Go in?
Her free hand moves to her stomach, letting it make the decision for her. Is she hungry enough to go in and order while waiting? Or stand here for a few more minutes hoping the others show up.. (Give them a few more minutes Luna. You can wait.)
Julianna - September 20, 2007 04:31 PM (GMT)
Heels click against the concrete sidewalk as the leggy blonde makes her way towards Quake. Yesterday, she and the others had determined that it would be there that they would convene and discuss their mutual situation. (And I'm running late. Dammit, Jules, can't you be on time for anything?)
Though her purse is slung over the shoulder, she grips the strap in her hand, several bangles hanging loosely on her wrist. Through the dark tint of her sunglasses, Julianna scans those near the restaurant for any sign of the others. It takes her a moment, but she spots the petite redhead; the only one of the group she actually knew.
"Luna!" Julianna waves her free hand to catch the gypsy's attention and then quickens her pace. Coming up to the shorter woman, Jules embraces her briefly before pulling away. "How are you? Are the others here yet?"
Pain - September 21, 2007 10:14 PM (GMT)
Pain, hellion goddess and the bane of human existence, walks down the street in search of lunch. Charly had momentarily ceased her griping about the situation. Which truly was for the best. This body now belonged to Pain, though she only used it as a conduit to create her own form.
Long blonde hair and bright blue eyes hide the evil that resides within. A glance at her and one would think her no different than any other California girl walking the streets. They'd be mistaken though.
As Pain approaches the entrance of Quake, two such creatures embrace. A look of disdain is all Pain can muster, unaware that these two women are part of a Coven meant to bring about her downfall.
The look of disgust is soon gone as are the two women from Pain's mind as she enters the restaurant. The glass door closes behind her, and her eyes sweep over those assembled here as though she is searching for someone in particular.
Not waiting to be seated, she moves forward into the dining room and heads for the tables.
Luna - September 23, 2007 11:35 PM (GMT)
Luna's face brightens as soon as she hears Julianna's voice, and she throws up a hand to wave. Though before she brings it down the girl is already there and the two give a short hug.
"I am great! Even though this all.. news..." Luna leans in and whispers. "Coven.." coming out and returning to normal voice. "Thing is totally crazy." Her mouth almost forms a complete S, but as soon as it appears it goes away and she returns to normal Luna. "No, we are the only ones that have made it. Which I am early... Me of all people early. But then again there is food involved."
Luna gives a small quirky laugh, then points inside. "So should we go in, or wait?"
Aurora - September 29, 2007 03:13 AM (GMT)
"Neither."
Aurora's voice precedes her appearance. Stepping out from the alleyway, the sorceress comes in full view of the two women and approaches them. Soft demure steps give the appearance that Aurora is practically floating across the ground, yet the way that she holds herself still hails effortless authority.
Briefly, her eyes flicker to the restaurant where she senses the presence of Pain. She had not planned upon ceasing the Coven's meeting altogether. However that was before she arrived and sensed the presence of the hellion goddess within the establishment. It was far too risky to allow the current members of the Coven anywhere near the beast.
"We have much to discuss amongst ourselves and away from prying ears."
Julianna - September 29, 2007 03:17 AM (GMT)
"Yeah, tell me about it." Julianna replies to Luna's rundown of their current predicament. It was odd to think that a ragtag group of people who barely knew each other was destined for greatness. Jules was still unsure about whether or not she believed it herself. "Maybe we should..."
Cut short by the voice of another, Jules looks over just as Aurora materializes on the sidewalk. Figuratively, not literally. The aero witch is taken aback by the woman's sudden appearance. She was under impression that this was a private lunch. Just the five of them.
"What? Aurora, what are you doing here?" Jules begins, though the questions are rhetorical. She shakes her head, trying to gather her thoughts. "We can't just up and leave. What about the others? We are supposed to be meeting them here."
Luna - September 29, 2007 05:17 AM (GMT)
Luna holds on to Julianna's words, wondering if she wants to go inside as well, get them something to eat. But then she hears the voice of Aurora come from out of basically know where. Which makes Luna jump a bit, yeah this gypsy has been around magic her whole life, but still. Wow, this woman is amazing. Then the next words put a frown on Luna's face, and she raises a hand to her stomach. "But..."
The illusionist eyes flick over to Julianna as she speaks, then inside Quake with a look of disappointment. Yeah you can read it all over this girls face, she was hungry and in there was food. Not really wanting to be the one to disagree, she tries a different approach.
"Or, we can wait inside." The idea brings a smile to her face. "Maybe... get something to eat while we wait as well? Or, we can even get it to go. Then by time it comes the others could be here. Yeah!" Basically speaking her thoughts out loud, but food was this red heads main priority. It would help her think better. "Yeah."
Daria Fallen - October 2, 2007 07:08 PM (GMT)
Daria brushes past the three women at the door were seemed to be deciding if they really wanted food or not. The look on the red head's face said she was famished. The older woman was harder to read. She offers them each a smile as she makes her way past them. She glances around the room, noting there were several tables large enough to acommodate four people. But rather than taking a seat at one of them, Daria makes her way towards the Female Restroom.
Aurora - October 6, 2007 11:23 PM (GMT)
"No. There is no time. We must move now."
Aurora allows some urgency to enter her voice, purposefully. She knew that a break from her normal calm and collected manner would throw them off balance. She could not allow them to encounter Pain now for it would surely mean their demise. The prophecy promised nothing of success.
Aurora's eyes move farther up the sidewalk where Thomas is approaching from. She nods her head, glad for the third member to appear sooner rather than later. It would save her the time and trouble to track him down.
"Here is Thomas now. I shall feed you at the shop, but we must go now."

Moira Santos - October 9, 2007 08:27 AM (GMT)
Moria pauses as she reaches for the handle of the galss door of the resteraunt. Counting to herself, she pulls open the door on the count of three. She is grinning as she talkes in what she sees.
Now where is she? the dark-haired elf wonders as she heads for the tables
As she walks, the smell of the coffee and food makes her stomach growl with a vengance, her face turning tomato red as she realizes that everyone can probably hear it.
Jenna Bell - October 23, 2007 03:54 PM (GMT)
The blonde witch glides through the maze of tables over towards the entrance of the restaurant. Her hand slips through her hair as she walks, pulling it forward so that it covers a little more of her face. She can’t really be bothered to go looking for a job right now, but she knows that she must. Jenna really needs some income at the moment, no matter how much it might be. She can’t continue living off what she’s got in the bank at the moment, that’ll soon disperse in little to no time.
Upon reaching the glass door which leads outside, the young woman takes a moment to retrieve the piece of paper with the employment agency’s address written on, out of her pocket. Taking another glance at it, Jenna gives a small nod to herself. (It’s not too far away) Exiting the building, the witch then heads for the car park, eager to be get there before it starts getting busy.
Sebastian Decorde - November 1, 2007 05:20 AM (GMT)
Sebastian suppresses a yawn as he makes his way to the glass doors. He was glad that he had a late start this morning. It gave him more time to adjust to being awake and to take in more of his new home city. He'd only been here a short amount of time, and he knew he had lots left to see.
(All in good time I suppose.)
With a small smile he continues on to the Parking Lot.
Aleron Deveaux - November 18, 2007 07:10 PM (GMT)
Reaching the glass doors, Aleron pauses momentarily as he silently debates where he wants to go next. He looks out the doors, glancing around at the Wharf. True, he could go and be a responsible adult and try to find a job, but that honestly isn't the type of guy that he is. Lately, all Aleron has been trying to do is have fun. He's been trying to keep his mind off of the tougher things in life, and just screwing around with his powers and his life in general. However, nothing in the arcade catches his fancy, so with a shrug he leans against the doors and heads outside. Once out the restaurant, he walks to the parking lot.
Adrienne Holt - November 21, 2007 06:20 AM (GMT)
Adrienne and Jade make their way towards the entrance of Quake, the young druid takes a small glance at the other woman and mentally shrugs. It was true that she was different then most people she'd met, but that made her curious. If journalism had taught her nothing else, it had taught her that there was always a story lurking under the surface. For some reason, this woman had a story she was interested in hearing. She does not, however verbalize these thoughts, and instead they both continue on to the Tables.
The Nexus - December 5, 2007 08:15 PM (GMT)
