Title: Sanctuary
Description: Inside Park
The Nexus - April 2, 2007 03:35 AM (GMT)
[Originally created by the Halliwell brothers, Wyatt and Chris, via a spell that did not pan out as expected, this Sanctuary is the home to many magical creatures as they avoid the persecution of the witch trials. The glamoured camp, located deep within a wooded area, is maintained through charms and enchanted crystals. The creatures here may come and go as they please as it is supposed to be a safe haven for them and not a prison.]
Jessabel DuGrey - October 9, 2007 02:29 PM (GMT)
Jessabel DuGrey is bored, to say the least. Her blonde locks of hair fall alongside her shoulders, tucked safely behind her ears to avoid it going in every direction. She stands with her arms crossed tightly across her chest, which in turn makes her bust more exuberant. Her eyes stare out, glancing from time to time at the various magical beings gathered in the Sanctuary built by the Halliwell brothers. The people tend to come and go, but there always is the usual crowd. The ones who are in hiding because they’ve been exposed to the public and now have to stay in here in order to not be hunted and killed.
(It’s Salem all over again…)
She thinks sarcastically to herself, rolling her eyes and tearing them away from a grungy looking fellow and over to Cairan and Jordan. They were her boys. The three of them make a terrible trio that could make Charlie’s Angels look like amateurs. But lately, the terrible factor has been, well in short, non-existent. Which all wraps back around to the fact that Jessabel is bored. She then lets out an audible sigh, letting her arms fall to her side. “Cairan, let’s do something. Anything. It’s gotten to the point that I’m considering leaving this place and exposing myself for the thrill of the chase.” She says, distaste obviously in her voice.
Chris Halliwell - November 19, 2007 04:45 PM (GMT)
Swirls of orbs rain down from the sky. They speedily form into that of four individuals, Chris Halliwell, Piper Halliwell, Bianca Cruz and the Oracle. The leader of this group steps forward, his eyes bouncing over those who have took refuge in the Sanctuary. He can’t help but feel sadness for these people. Their lives have been turned upside down because of ignorance and fear. All he can do is take comfort in the fact that it will all be over soon enough. Only a Second passes by before they begin their task and the scene fades out.
Bianca - December 10, 2007 05:57 PM (GMT)
Hours later and the area within Sanctuary is just about cleaned up and all of its inhabitants are packed and ready to go. The plan being that when the Sanctuary borders are dropped that no one will ever realize that this area was used to house magical fugitives. There could be no loose ends left or it could possibly undo Wyatt's solution.
(Chris, where are you?) Bianca looks upward, the direction that Chris went only an hour or so before. He had gone to inform the Elders and Wyatt that Sanctuary was ready to evacuate, but has yet to return. (The sooner we can get through this nightmare and move on, the better.)
Chris Halliwell - December 12, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
A trail of bright lights rain down from the sky. They swirl down to a bench, slowly coming together into the form of Chris Halliwell. Higher now than most, the telekinetic makes his presence felt.
“Quiet! Quiet everyone…” Chris silences the large crowd, wanting to get this going as smoothly as possible. “The Witch trials are now over.” He pauses, allowing the people to digest this life changing information. “You can all go back to your everyday lives. No one will remember a thing. It’s like nothing has ever happened…” (Pity we couldn’t bring back the lives that were lost…)
“However, things have to change. You all need to be a lot more careful with your magic. If any of this gets out again then that will be it. The trials will be brought back and then there will be no way to fix it. This was a one time solution; it can not be used again. Do I make myself clear?” Chris says with an air of authority. He means every word too. The creatures in this place are here because of one person who was far too careless with her magic, it can not be repeated.
“Now we’re going to leave in small orderly groups, so if you will, grab your things and wait for either: Bianca, Piper, the Oracle or I, to lead you out.” Chris gestures towards what used to be the boundaries of the sanctuary. He steps down from the bench, not needing the attention on him anymore. He nods over to Bianca in greeting, spotting her in the crowd and then gets to work once more. One by one he begins rounding people up and leading them out of the sanctuary…
Piper Halliwell - December 13, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Chris' orbs draw Piper's attention, and the Halliwell matriarch lets out a breath of air at the sight of her son. It never sat well with her when her children disappeared to the Heavens for long periods of time. Call her paranoid, but she did not particularly trust nor like the Elders. (They may have the best of intentions, but they really suck in practice.)
Like everyone else in the former camp, Piper watches and listens to Chris' speech. Throughout it, she can't help but appreciate Chris' authoritative presence. It would appear that Wyatt was not the only one with leadership qualities. Piper looks away in order to glance around the crowd, gaging their reactions.
(Now lets hope that this will go smoothly.) Piper breaks from the pack in search of a group that was already prepared to leave. She spots Cairan, Jessabel and Jordan off to the side. It had not escaped her notice that the three were practically inseparable. Based upon this assumption, she heads in their direction with plans to escort them outside the Sanctuary's boundaries.
"You three ready?" Piper perks a brow in question before looking each of them over. Satisfied that they were as ready as possible, she nods a head indicating that they should follow. She then leads them outside of Sanctuary.
(I wonder how long this is going to take...)
Ring - December 13, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
[The strange ring on Chris' finger - the one that he found and put on after killing Logan - glows ominously. The ring causes a surge of pheromones to be released within his body, increasing his level of attraction. This occurs after he sees the Phoenix Witch, Soleil Maxwell. From now until stated otherwise, Chris will find himself undeniably attracted to Soleil despite the still existent feeling of love he possesses for Bianca.]
Chris Halliwell - December 23, 2007 01:14 AM (GMT)
As Chris filters the groups of magical creatures that took refuge in the sanctuary, out into the real world, he doesn’t notice the supernatural glow his ring emits. At that moment in time it is Soleil he is looking at, his blue orbs suddenly gaining a deep craving to them. For a moment he just wants to stop what he is doing, storm over to the Phoenix Witch and pull her into a deep electrifying kiss. He wants to touch her, feel her, love her. A rush of emotion flows though him, filling him with an undeniable attraction for the woman.
(But Bianca….) Chris stops himself from indulging in his new found desire, reminding himself of his love for the other Phoenix Witch. His orbs travel through the crowd over towards his Fiancé, finding her busy at work. A rush of guilt goes through him, yet still he finds himself drawn to Soleil. He’s never noticed how soft her skin looks, how deep her eyes are, how luscious her lips would be to kiss. The telekinetic swallows hard, unable to think about anything else. Like it is with most spells and enchantments, the man is unable to comprehend that the feelings he is feeling right now is because of magic at work.
Oracle - December 25, 2007 04:39 PM (GMT)
The Oracle looks around Sanctuary, looking at the faces of it's inhabitants. Some were happy to be leaving. With the witch trials over, they could go back to their normal lives. However, there were a few that weren't too pleased with the idea of having to start over again. They in time would learn to accept that Sanctuary was just a temporary means of protection. Spotting a group of stragglers, the Oracle breaks away from Chris and heads over to them. Grabbing a few of their belongings, he helps lead them out of Sanctuary.
Bianca - January 7, 2008 03:27 AM (GMT)
It had been several hours since the witch trials had ended. Several hours since the evacuation process had begun. And now things are finally winding down. The last of the refugees are led out by the young whitelighter, Jacyn, as Bianca watches. As the group passes through the veil, Bianca turns back to her lover, Christopher Halliwell.
"That's the last of them." She rubs her hand up and down Chris' arm a couple of times before slipping her hand into his grip. Her dark eyes roam the now nearly empty Sanctuary, which possess only a few remnants of the camp that had been located here during the trials. "I'll take care of the mess if you'll end the Sanctuary spell. Deal?"
Without waiting for a reply, Bianca unhooks herself from Chris and steps forward. Her form-fitting leather outfit creases as she walks, and her steps are surprisingly stable despite the heels and the current terrain.
"Let the object of objection become but a dream
As I cause the seen to become unseen."
The Nexus - January 7, 2008 03:29 AM (GMT)
[Bianca's borrowed spell is (obviously) a success and a wave of energy passes over the Sanctuary, removing all signs of its former inhabitants.]
Chris Halliwell - January 13, 2008 06:11 PM (GMT)
Chris forces a soft smile across his lips as Bianca takes his hand. He feels guilty - an unbearable guilt for feelings for the other Phoenix Witch. Yet he still can not get over the electrifying attraction he feels for the woman. His thoughts of her soon wash away of the negativity Bianca’s presence conjures, replacing with vivid thoughts of touching her, kissing her, being with her - the feel of her body under his, the sound of her heart beating eagerly. Chris quickly shakes the images off, reminding himself of his love for his fiancée.
(She’s the only one for me. She’s always has been and she always will be) The raven haired telekinetic mutters internally as the woman steps forward and casts her spell. It works of course, bringing a proud smile to his lips. (She’s perfect) Yet the man is still plagued with doubt, feeling his eyes being pulled back towards Soleil as he chants a spell to end the sanctuary spell’s effect.
“Guiding spirits,
Hear out plea,
Annul the sanctuary,
Let it be”
The Nexus - January 13, 2008 07:03 PM (GMT)
[We are feeling particularly giving today, so the spell is a
success without any repercussions. The magical cloak around the Sanctuary falls and it becomes part of
Golden Gate Park once more. All of its inhabitants may continue posting
here as Sanctuary
no longer exists.]
