There is a disturbance beneath the water's surface as the sea witch better known as Vesti makes her presence known. She breaks through the water, riding a large bubble of water that raises and holds her in the air.

Her wordless song continues, reverberating even louder without the water acting as a buffer. Even while producing the harmony, Vesti manages to smile down upon her latest victim - who would not be so lucky as to escape like the last.

Drawing her right hand upwards, Vesti commands the lake waters to create a wave that wavers in place while she holds her arm high above her head. Then, ending her song, Vesti slams her fist down and out, causing the wave to head straight for the pier.

Having been dragged into the waters of the lake, Julianna struggles to regain her bearings even while being submerged. She flails against the unforgiving water that entangle her limbs. Panic wells up inside of her and a fear that she may drown before given the chance to lay the smack down on the bitch above. (And I would have let everyone down.)

A glimpse of light, like a beacon of hope, lies in the distance. She can barely make it out through the dark waters, but it's there. It is enough to awaken some sense within her and she puts her mind - and powers - to good use. Using all of her strength, Julianna releases a torrent of air downwards that acts like a jet, propelling her upwards until she breaks the surface.

Upon breaking through, Jules takes a deep breath air that revitalizes her. She wipes the water from her eyes and scans the area for her target. Bitch os going to pay for that one. She spots Vesti and immediately gestures to her, heating up the area around her so fast that it creates an explosion.

The explosion causes Vesti's concentration to break, further causing her power over the water supporting her to break. She falls into the water, her face warm from the heat caused by Julianna's explosion. The sea witch is far from defeated, however. Regaining her composure under the water, Vesti channels her power once more to bring her up in air, the water acting almost like a makeshift throne. (She'll pay for that last one...) She thinks to herself, bringing her hands up in a circular motion.

The water beneath Julianna's wadding body slowly begins to swirl around, though quickly gains momentum and speed. The sounds of the waves crashing around her is almost deafening as the water turns into the equivalent of a tornado; just on a much smaller scale, and in the water. The waves rush around Julianna, spinning her quickly and bringing her underwater. Vesti keeps her hands out in front of her, spinning the waves faster and faster with a wicked malicious grin on her face.

Julianna's body is pulled in by the current of the whirlpool and is soon spiraling with the waters. The movement is nauseating and makes it difficult for her to get her bearing, especially when she is so focused on breathing and not drowning. Every time that she feels the cool brush of air when she breaks the surface of the water, Jules takes the opportunity to inhale before being pulled back under.

She knows that this can not go on for much longer and that she is wasting all her energies just trying to stay afloat. Using the same tactic as earlier, Julianna creates a strong rush of air that propels out of the whirlpool - and deeper into the lake. Though the situation seems slightly worse, she takes comfort in the fact that she is no longer subject to the whirlpool, whose current can still be felt down here.

(I need air. I need... wait.) A rather risky and innovative thought occurs to her at that moment. She has air. She has plenty of air. Summoning up a whirliwind of her own, Julianna uses her winds to push the water away from her like a bubble of air, except without any walls. (Success! What is that?)

Jules peers ahead at a cavern that lies at the bottom of the lake. Using the air currents to maneuver herself, the young witch heads in that direction, entering it upon closing the distance.

Vesti laughs wildly as the witch struggles fruitlessly against the strong current of the whirlpool. She watches as the girl is dragged under repeatedly, bobbing to the surface only to be pulled down once more. Helpless witch; guaranteed to entertain for hours.

Once Julianna has yet to resurface again, Vesti allows the spin cycle to cease as she descends into the water again. No body turns up and suddenly the sea hag is no longer gleeful. Dipping her hand into the water, Vesti uses one of her many powers to locate Julianna, catching sight of her entering the underwater cavern. Screaming in anger, Vesti dips beneath the water's surface as she follows Jules to the depths of the lake and within her lair.
