[A defensive wall that surrounds the castle and is accessible via the towers.]
Lucifer and Victor arrive on the top ramparts of the Castle Wall. They are in that section just above the gate - where the forest of illusion lies out like a leafy green blanket before them. The fog continues to roll forwards, ever onwards, filtering through the tree trunks like something out of a movie... like The Mist.
It's eerie - yet beautiful at the same time. (And what sort of Illusions exactly? That sure is some defense for Castle Lyr. I don't even want to know what it's guarding us from...) Just another great mystery of the mystical Isle of Avalon.
Luc turns away from the outside wall to focus on something closer, and something infinitely more important to him right now. Victor Halliwell. Stoic, insufferably wise for someone so young, and the most beautiful man he's ever been attracted to. Victor, who - as Luc recalls - has promised him something that the teleporter covets more than food or fun: a talk.
"So," Luc's gaze travels to the majestic Castle on their other side, "any place particular you wanted to go?"
One hand rests on the cold stone of the ancient, druid-constructed castle, supporting the athletic frame of the blond. He looks out at the island as well - the castle wall giving a view of the entire island. If one looks closely enough in daylight, Magic School can be seen on the opposite side of the island. (Emiko will be expecting Melinda and I to make an appearance at some point. We still have classes to finish up.)
"So..."
"Hm?" Victor looks away from the island landscape and to Luc, who stands before him, more matured than he had been a couple of months prior.
"...any place particular you wanted to go?"
"My bedroom." Victor states quite simply and without hesitation. It was probably the one place within the castle that the two could get some peace. "Do you remember where it is? Mid level of the West wing?"
"My bedroom."
"What, without even dinner or a movie first? Victor, I never." The teasing words are out before Luc even thinks about them. Some things never change, apparently, no matter now much one matures. With a hand on Victor's cr... er... chest - Luc transports the both of them to the bedroom. Most. Convenient. Power. Ever.
After the boys leave, the lonely cry of a bird of prey is heard over the distance. The outlines of the moon are becoming ever prominent. Nighttime at Castle Lyr is finally setting in.
