Title: F.A.Q.

In preparation for the confusion that is likely to occur due to the move to the new board as well as the recent plot development that basically undoes the past year, I have created this thread to walk the members of ACL through some of the most common questions and issues, providing insight, reassurance and answers.

1. What the hell just happened?
Basically, it was revealed that the past year of plots was a prophetic dream of Wyatt's induced by Celeste. Its purpose was to provide him with a learning experience and to stop him from actually creating that future. So now ACL is back to May 2028, before Pain's hostile takeover.

2. What does this mean for our characters?
Obviously, characters alive at the time of the 3 year jump will be alive once more and will be open to the players picking them back up again. In addition, newer characters created after the jump still exist and players are welcome to continue playing them.

3. Between my old characters and new characters, I have a total of 3. What then?
Since this situation is only occurring with a few individuals it has been decided that they will be an exception to the '2 character maximum' rule.

4. What if I don't want to play one of my old characters? Or wish to drop one of my newer ones?
That is another possible scenario and completely up to the individual players. An RPG is supposed to be fun, and it isn't much fun when you are being forced to do something you don't want to.

5. If I opt to give one of my characters a 'new destiny' in the Nexus, does anything transfer over from their 'old lives'?
To make my life easier, I have decided that things such as apartments, etc. will be transferable. As for history and memories, it would depend on the individual situations and should be discussed with the admin beforehand.

6. Why the move?
For one very simple reason. The reason that drives everything that happens on ACL. Plot.

7. Are there any other major changes around the board?
There are some things listed in the Announcements forum as well as some new information here, in the Reference Desk. It would also be a good idea to check out the Rules & Regulations forum as some things have changed and added in.

8. It says returning members need to reaudition. What's that all about?
Not reaudition entirely. However, returning members will have to submit answers to a set of questions on the rules. Since things are being changed slightly, it is the admin's way of making sure all members are up to speed on the rules so there are no excuses later on if they are broken and action is taken.
