Powers:
Characters should never go beyond the guidelines of a power given by the Nexus. Everything you can do or need to know for your power will be posted to you in your Nexus post and in all progressions afterwards. If you have any questions, then PM The Nexus, do NOT assume.

When using your powers, please bold what you are doing. This makes it much easier for the staff to catch something that they may need to respond too, and members can easily see what it is you are trying to accomplish.

Spells:
Spells should be set in their own paragraph and bolded - anything you can do to set it apart and make it stand out. This draws attention to the spell so you can get a speedier response. Spell results will be posted by The Nexus, not by players.

Potions:
Potions should be given some thought. There is a link to herbs and their uses here. Use it. The more creative and researched your potion is, the more likely you are to get what you desire. Again, potion results are posted by The Nexus.

Scrying:
Scrying results are posted by Scrying Crystal - unless performing a different form of scrying. You can use a crystal and map, a modern computer technique, or a bowl of water to scry. Just bold the action and what it is you are scrying for and wait for a response.

Regardless of the magical ability you are tapping into, one should never go beyond their own means. The level system has been reinstated and characters are bound to the level they are in, which affects their success rate. Do not push yourself beyond your means because it will just blow up in your face.
