Title: Golden Gate Park
Description: Inside Park

Mother Nature - March 15, 2007 03:22 PM (GMT)
[This is Golden Gate Park. It is larger than Central Park in NYC and houses various plant life. It averages nearly 80,000 visitors on an average weekend.]

Jade Spring - August 7, 2007 04:16 PM (GMT)
In one of the more secluded parts of the park, Jade sits in the shade; her back pressed up against the bark of one of the countless number of trees. Her mind ticks away over the mess she’s gotten herself into. She really can’t believe how stupid she’s been, how hard she’s made her own life. Her mind then flicks onto Leila, guilt-ridden by how difficult she’s made her life as well.

(It probably won’t be long before Xazor comes after me too) Jade contemplates, realising that’s she’s in the same boat as Leila was – a reformed demon. She briefly wonders who will be the one sent after her - to hunt her down just like Jade had done so to Li. Would it be a mortal turned demon? A witch or Gypsy that’s turned them self into a demon, just like she did? Maybe just a regular old demon? Xazor himself even? He might just do that if he’s angry enough; and she imagines losing another ‘catch’ to good would be infuriating. (As if being on the run from the police wasn’t hard enough, now I’ve got magical threats to worry about) A sigh of frustration escapes from her lips at her thoughts.

(And that guy…what was he? He seemed pretty damn set on capturing me. But why? He wasn’t the police. He wasn’t magical…well he didn’t seem magical. What did he want with me?!) Jade shakes her head in an annoyed manner, not managing to make any sense of what happened back at the arcades. She has no clue how she reverted back to her old self, nor what caused it to happen at that particular moment. She doesn’t know who that man was, what he was planning to do with her or where he is at the moment. He could even be after her right this very second. This is a frightening thought for the woman. There are just so many threats out to get her and not a spot of hope anywhere. Her demise seems inevitable. The only factor which might change is who will be the one to finally end it.

Adrienne Holt - August 9, 2007 04:22 AM (GMT)
Waves of long brown hair fan out gently from behind Adrienne's head as the young woman takes a brisk stroll through the park. Had she looked up from her pad of paper containing her immediate schedule, perhaps the young woman might have spotted a lone woman in the shade. This is however not the case as Adrienne stops momentarily only to reflect on the pad's contents.

(Okay, so I need to find an apartment. Maybe I'll try Bayside's, I've heard good things about them. Then I guess I'd best swing by the employment agency and find some way of paying rent. The loan Mom and Dad gave me can only go so far I guess.)

With a mental shrug, Adrienne runs her hands gently through her hair and sighs. Here she was, in her twenties, a recent university graduate, ready to take on the world.

(As long as it doesn't try to eat me alive first.)

This is a considerable concern. With the war against the magical community raging on, Adrienne could only pray that she would go unnoticed. As much as it pained her to think of the suffering of her kind, she felt totally lost as to how to help.

(Maybe one day they'll be an opportunity. Even then, I doubt I'd be ready.)

The girl frowns and shakes her head. This wasn't the time for such sour thoughts. Today was supposed to be quite different and mark the start of her post university adventures. She'd be damned if she'd let herself spoil it.

Hazel eyes flicker the welcoming grass and a small smile graces her features. The list could wait. After all, how long had it been since she enjoyed some quiet time in the park?

(Way too long.)

As her purse slides gently from her shoulder into her hand, Adrienne blindly tosses the bag off to the side, looking over only to identify it's location, which she discovers is dangerously close to the side of a young woman.

(Oh no, please tell me I did not just beam somebody first thing in the morning!)

With a grimace she jogs over and gives Jade an apologetic smile.

"I'm so sorry, did I hit you?"

Jade Spring - August 10, 2007 07:32 PM (GMT)
The young Druid catches Jade’s eye the second she comes into range. She is on-guard after all, and the Gypsy knows too well how many threats lurk under innocent guises. This woman, the more than likely fresh from Uni busy body, as Jade pegs her for; well she could be an undercover cop, a demon, a warlock, Witch hunter or whatever other big bads are out to get her at the moment. Jade fully understands not to lower her guard just because of appearances; she’s learnt that lesson the hard way. (Is she or isn’t she? Friend or foe? Friend or foe?)

The brunette reaches down at the back of her jeans, discretely gripping onto the handle of her athame. She’d stashed it there for a scenario like this, one where she’d need a weapon quick, though would want her attacker to think she was defenceless. Ready to whip the blade out and slash the woman if she showed any sign of threat against her, Jade keeps her eyes locked on Adrienne.

Then unexpectedly, even to Jade, the Druid’s bag flies towards her. For a second the brunette thinks it may even hit her; however it does not. It misses her, landing just to the right of her. (Civilian) She assesses, knowing that if she was a magical creature that was out to get her, that bag would have been a potion, not a bag; and if she was a cop, well bullets would have flown towards her, not a fashion accessory.

“Yes. Right smack in my face” Jade begins with a joke, releasing her grip on her athame. (If I can hit up a conversation with her I might be able to find out what’s new…what the latest witch-finding tricks are.) The Gypsy internally notes, knowing she’ll need to pump Adrienne for information without coming off too suspicious. “No, you missed me. Nice bag…” She finishes as she jumps to her feet. Picking up the Druid’s bag, her face changes to a look of admiration (it is a nice bag, even if she only said it to get on the woman’s good side) before holding it out for Adrienne to take.

Adrienne Holt - August 10, 2007 09:05 PM (GMT)
For a brief moment Adrienne's stands frozen as she full believes her bag has indeed hit this poor woman in the face. Then, she catches the smile. (Oh, thank God.) A smile parts her lips as Jade continues on and then stands to return her bag to her.

"Glad to hear it. I guess I'm going to have to be more careful from now on!" Adrienne laughs softly and reaches forward to reclaim her bag. "Thanks. It's just a little something I picked up last time I was back home." The mention of home causes her smile to falter. The bag hadn't been the only thing she'd gotten that trip. The three hour guilt trip her sister had subjected her to had been less than pleasant.

(No need to go there. One day she'll understand.)

With her attention back to Jade, Adrienne gently swings her bag over her shoulder. "So, what brings you out to the park so early?" The girl pauses realizing something has been left unsaid. "Oh, and I'm Adrienne by the way. Sorry, I'm not used to introducing myself until after noon on most days. It's still a little early for me." The druid smiles coyly and holds out a hand in typical greeting fashion.

Daria Fallen - August 13, 2007 12:51 AM (GMT)
Daria, who had been doing some Tai Chi in the park since about seven, watched the whole scene play out. She found it amusing. The one girl reminded her of herself a few years back when she was in university and college. Wow. That was a while ago. I know what she's going through. Memories of her university days flash through her head. Everyone said Psych and teaching were a hell of a mix, but they were her two passions. And she made it through. She actually found most of it fun. She always loved a challenge. It came in handy with dealing with her students. Ah, High School English. Now there was a challenge. Sure, there were some kids that actually liked English class, but not many. She wanted to change that. She didn't teach quite the same as she was taught English in high school. She liked to mix it up a little.

Whoa, that was close. She comes out of her thoughts as a purse flies towards the gypsy. Watch where you're throwing shit, lady. She thinks towards Adrienne. She just shakes her head and goes back to continuing her tai Chi only to find that she'd come to the end of that session. Only now does she feel her stomach grumbling a little. I knew I should have had more than a cereal bar this morning. She brings her left wrist towards her face, only to notice that her watch was not on her wrist. Crap. She sighs and bends to pick up her bag. She throws it over her shoulder and pulls a bottle of water that was inside out and takes a gulp from it, recaps it and sets it back in the bag, zipping the bag back up. She looks over at the other two women and begins to head there way. Hopefully they'll have the time. She approaches carefully, making them aware of her presence. "Excuse me, I don't mean to interrupt, but do either of you have the time?" She asks.

Jasmine Nightwish - August 13, 2007 07:00 AM (GMT)
Jasmine sits on a bench further away from the girls, paying them no attention. Right now, the witch now warlock is in her own little world. Eyes closed, she attempts to get her breathing back to a steady pace. This is the first time she has been in the mortal realm ever since her spell to avenge her parents. The sights, the sounds, the natural light...It's all something that the human in Jasmine longs for but the darkness inside her heart rejects.

How long is she going to go through this? The constant battle of good and evil pitting in her soul. She knows that there is no way for her to go back; even if there was, does she really want to? If she is going to be completely honest with herself, then it would be a no. Since Jasmine lets the darkness that lives inside everyone fully take over, it's almost as if she has been on a severe head rush. Things go faster, you loose emotional attachments...

She opens her eyes now, looking now at the three women. Her breathing is returning to a normal pace, not being driven faster by fear but by excitement. She is back. She's in the world where she grew up; a world where she doesn't have to constantly look over her shoulder, and a world where she isn't sleeping with one eye open to make sure she isn't being hunted. Well...Of course that may happen in the Mortal World, but at least humans aren't as bad as the demons.

She suddenly feels a warm sensation on her shoulder, naturally reaching back to scratch it. Putting her hand under her shirt, she rubs the rise in her skin making out the rune from the ritual. She doesn't know how long it's going to be there, or what the insistent burning means, but she means to find out. However, as she returns her hand on her lap, she will wait. Jasmine watches the girls and their conversations, picking up little words here and there.

Jade Spring - August 14, 2007 02:48 PM (GMT)
Jade smirks at Adrienne’s shocked reaction when the Druid still thinks that the bag hit her. It’s a look of total shock and dread, as if she’s waiting for Jade to shout at her or something. Then the brunette realises that she was indeed joking and parts her lips into a grin, a sign that the Gypsy is already starting to worm her way onto the woman’s good side. (At least she’s not one of those boring stuck up types. Getting information out of them is like getting blood out of a stone)

Jade nods as Adrienne continues on, explaining that her bag was just a little something she got back home, wherever the Druid’s home is. (Ah, so she’s not from here…) “So are you new to the city?” The fellow brunette asks lightly, trying to keep the conversation going. She can’t have any awkward silences, not at all. They’d kill the woman’s chances to get what little information out of her that she can.

“Oh, nothing much. Just felt like I needed to get anyway from city life for a little while. You? “Jade replies in answer to Adrienne’s question, not able to tell the woman anything near the truth. On the run from practically every type of law enforcement and magical threat doesn’t exactly roll off the tongue. (I miss being able to shimmer. I thought life was rough then, but damn was I wrong)

“Nice to meet you Adrienne. I’m Rebecca” Jade lies, taking the woman’s hand and shaking it lightly. It’s not like she can go around using her real name. What if she’s been broadcasted or something, telling people to watch out for a vigilante under the name of Jade Spring? The woman might not realise who she is at first, but the name might trigger off a memory. Anyways, a false identity can’t get her in any bigger trouble than she already is.

Then Daria’s voice catches her attention and Jade spins around to see who is approaching. A strange thing to do for an ordinary person just talking in the park, but then again the Gypsy isn’t your average woman. Her eyes look the premonition witch up and down, checking for any signs of weapons on her. Seeing none, her eyes lose there slightly suspicious glint, Jade forcing them to hold a tinge of warmth. (Keep your cool Jade. Don’t lose it. She’s just another mortal. She’s not harmful) “I’m sorry I don’t…” She replies simply, glancing over at Adrienne to see how she would answer. (This is driving me mad….What’s next? Punching out a little girl because her lolly might be a weapon in disguise?)

Daria Fallen - August 14, 2007 07:43 PM (GMT)
When Jade spins around, seemingly to defend herself, Daria's hand go up a little. "Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She apologizes. She notes the almost accusatory glint in Jade's eyes, and narrows her own slightly, thinking, before glancing at Adrienne, offering her a smile. When she looks back to Jade, she no longer has the suspicious look she had only a moment ago. Little did Jade, or Adrienne for that matter, know that she had her athame tucked in the bottom of her small gym bag. Not that it was something that crossed the woman's mind. Daria had actually nearly forgotten she'd placed it there that morning when she was packing. She liked having a weapong with her. And her Martial Arts allowed her enough knowledge for her touse it properly. It mostly for defence. Daria hadn't run into any demons for a while. At least, none that were trying to kill her, anyway.

At Jade's reply that she doesn't know the time, she looks towards Adrienne, hoping that maybe she'd have a watch somewhere. The dark-haired witch becomes a little wary of Jade. No one was that jumpy. It was a park. Hadn't she made enough noise as she approched? Meh. She dismisses it, not for a moment thinking that Jade had anything of interest to hide from her. Suddenly, her stomach grumbles a little louder. "Oh!" She says, placing her hand flat on her belly. "I'm hungrier than I thought." She says, not really embarrassed, just shocked at how hungry she really was. "Who knew that Tai Chit could take so much out of you." She adds, chuckling a little.

Adrienne Holt - August 16, 2007 09:20 AM (GMT)
Adrienne frowns slightly at Jade's initial question and then shakes her head. "Not exactly. I've actually just graduated Golden Gate U, so I've been around for a few years. Of course I'm sure there's still places I have yet to explore." The young druid smiles and offers a tiny shrug to apologize for what she views as a rather lackluster response.

The gypsy's second question evokes a small nod in understanding and a casual answer. "I just figured I'd give myself some time to breathe before I dive into the wonderful world of housing and employment hunting. But I guess it's time I put my education to use anyway, I have to find some way to provide for myself." Adrienne's nose wrinkles somewhat as she reflects on the time she'd no doubt spend today inside of offices. It was daunting to do both in such little time, but quite frankly she'd put it off long enough.

Daria's voice also startles the brunette woman, however this is quickly replaced by her curiosity towards Jade's quick reflex. (I hope I didn't make her all paranoid with my my flying bag. She seems quite jumpy though. I guess it is rather early...probably nothing.) And almost instantly, the confusion is brushed away as Adri focuses on answering the new comer's question. "Hold on a sec, I've got my watch in my bag. I don't like it rubbing against my wrist."

A second later Adrienne's hand reemerges from her purse clutching the device victoriously. "It's just after nine." The brunette smiles warmly at Daria's stomach attempting to communicate while tossing her watch softly back into her bag. "Nothing a good breakfast can't fix." She offers lightly in an amused tone.

Daria Fallen - August 20, 2007 01:45 PM (GMT)
Daria waits politely as Adrienne pulls out her watch. She smiles at her comment. "Hey! Me too. I just forgot to grab my phone this morning. That's how I usually keep track of the time." She explains. She had at first mentally beaten herself for not bringing her phone with her, but quickly decided that if anyone needed to get ahold of her that badly on her day off, they could search the city for all she cared. It was her first day off from work in ... A long time. When Adrienne tells her what time it is, her rumbling belly makes sense. "Ah, so that's why it's talking to me." She says, glancing at her flat stomach.

"Sounds like a plan. You ladies eaten yet? I wouldn't mind some company." She extends to invitation to breakfast to both, hoping to find some new friends. She didn't have many outside of work, and even then, she was usually too busy to have any kind of social life. But this year was going to be different. She was going balance demon fighting and innocent saving with a real life, and not just one that concentrated on her job.

Moira Santos - August 24, 2007 04:30 AM (GMT)
Moira leans against a tree with her eyes closed. To those that might see her, she would appear to be sleeping or meditating, depending on their viewpoints. She is doing neither. She is, however, listening to the song of the birds above her.

Her visits to the park were becoming a habit. She would wake up at dawn and after meditating, would head to the park where she could people watch and enjoy it.

This day it was still early and there were people in the park.

They must be early risers like me. she thinks as she opens her eyes and looks around, then she looks at her clothing. She chose to dress in purple this day. Purple leggings and a lavender tee-shirt. Her dark hair was plaited in a tidy French braid.

Softly she begins to sing a song to complement the birds above her.

Jasmine Nightwish - August 24, 2007 07:27 PM (GMT)
Jasmine draws her eyes away from the trio of girls at another sound. Is that...? Yes, it is. Singing. Jasmine looks over and sees Moira, dressed in a various shade of purple attire, leaning against a tree and singing with the birds. The longing to go over and take off her gloves and start to wring the girls neck brings a small darkened smile on her face, the image of such events taking place in her head.

With a shake of her head, showing her annoyance at the girl's singing that Moira would probably be able to pick up if she were looking at Jasmine, she returns her gaze back towards the trio. They were proving to be quite interesting. There was the oldest looking one, all to keen to take strangers out to get some breakfast without even giving them her name. Then there was Rebecca, the girl who was jumpy enough to look as if she were on some bad crack.

Having picked up Rebecca's name and Adrienne's name from the earlier conversation, Jasmine tilts her head to the side as she tries to tune out the singing to listen to their conversation. It was proving far more interesting than some purple clad wanna be American Idol. She didn't really get a read off of Adrienne; at least, she hasn't find anything abnormal about her yet. With a sigh, she places her gloved hands on her lap and continues to eavesdrop nonchalantly.

Jade Spring - August 31, 2007 07:28 PM (GMT)
Jade watches as Adrienne digs into her bag, her eyes discretely peeking into the purse, checking out what the woman is carrying on her. Nothing interesting, at least that’s what it looks like to the Gypsy-turned Demoness-turned Gypsy again. Everything looks in order. (Nothing suspicious about that one…)

At the confirmation of the time, Jade’s eyes gain a glint of surprise. She had no clue what time it was. She’d slept here in the park, having stumbled into it when she was running like a mad woman away from the witch hunter. She’d hardly slept a wink and time seemed to be dragging, her constant fear of what may happen next having prolonged her night. For her at least, it seemed later than nine AM.

"Sounds like a plan. You ladies eaten yet? I wouldn't mind some company."

“I should really be getting home” Jade replies immediately, not wanting to lower her guard and go for breakfast with the woman, no matter how tempting the offer seems. After all she hasn’t eaten since yesterday and that was down in the underworld. She’s starving and her stomach grumble shows this. (But then again…what am I going to do? Where am I going to go? A restaurant would be just as safe as here, if not more. I mean in the park is where that anti-witch riot happened and I don’t have half the power that witch did and she still got captured – and burned!)

Jade’s brow quivers for a second, the woman unintentionally showing her worries about what she is about to do. She’s too consumed with her thoughts she doesn’t even notice the Elvin woman singing beneath a nearby tree. “Actually, what the hell? Why not? I haven’t eaten yet and I wouldn’t mind some company either…” (At least this way I have two walking, talking shields to hide behind if guns start going off…or hostages. Yes, if push comes to shove I could keep these two hostages until I could come up with an escape)

Daria Fallen - August 31, 2007 07:40 PM (GMT)
Daria notes all the other goings on in the park. NOt really being nosey, just something she did naturally. Her Martial Arts training, too, helped. She was trained to be alert at all times. Although notice of Jasmine was simply knowing that someone was there, Moira's singing had really caught her attention. Okay, I've heard of morning people, but that's ... Rediculous. Although, at least she's on key. She grins a little, and looks away as Jade answers her invitation. At first, coming up with an excuse until her belly, too, betrays the woman's hunger. She just chuckles softly, ready to call her on it until Jade accepts the invitation. They seem likeable enough. Besides, I really need to get some friends. I don't want to be the loner professor forever.

"Great!" She exclaims, turning her attention to Adrienne. She seems more calm. Maybe ... Crap. What's her name? Gah! I did it again. She looks at the two women with a somewhat surprised look on her face. "I'm sorry, I didn't even get your names. I'm Daria." She offers, not even thinking that they might not tell her their real names. I mean, why not? Unless they were being hunted ... But even then, she wouldn't give them away. She'd be turned in herself. Along with her husband and daughter. Ya, that's not gonna happen. She thinks bitterly. What was the girl's name? Oh, yes, Jewel. Jewel Price, or something. She had a serious hate towards the young whitelighter who'd exposed magic. As if things weren't hard enough without witch hunters after them.

Adrienne Holt - September 1, 2007 02:24 AM (GMT)
Adrienne offers a small smile in response to Daria's invitation, though she waits to see 'Rebecca's' response before answering. The young druid observes what seems to be an inner struggle before the reinstated gypsy agrees to tag along. "Well, I don't see why not. I guess I can always go hunting after." Adrienne turns her head briefly in sudden confusion as Moira begins to sing. After identifying the distraction she quirks an eyebrow and shakes her head. (I always said San Fran could be a little-)

"I'm sorry, I didn't even get your names. I'm Daria."

Daria brings Adrienne back to focus and she waves off the apology. "Don't worry about it, I'm Adrienne." Having stated her name she looks over to Jade to do the same.

Moira Santos - September 12, 2007 12:41 AM (GMT)
Moira looks around her and notices the group gathered in the distance. She watches them for a few moments, debating weather or not to go and speak to them or not.

She enjoys wathing people and this was giving her the chance to do so. Sighing, she gets to her feet, pausing to brush off any deirt or grass that is on her clothes.

Slowly, she moves towrads them.

Daria Fallen - September 12, 2007 01:18 AM (GMT)
Daria smiles as Adrienne offers her name and looks over to Jade, expecting her to give her name without question. Then she remembers the jumpiness of the woman and thinks that maybe she wouldn't want to. Her eyes then catch the movement of something to her left. She glances, then turns her head to see Moira approaching. She offers the woman a warm smile, wondering if their small group was about to get bigger.

Jade Spring - September 13, 2007 02:54 PM (GMT)
A grin spreads across Jade’s face as Adrienne also accepts the woman’s invitation. It looks like she’s about to get exactly what she wants – information. She can try to discretely pump them for information over breakfast. The topic of the witch hunts shouldn’t be too hard to get onto, it’s all people seem to talk about lately.

“And I’m Rebecca” The lie slips off her tongue as if it is second nature. This is also when she notices the strange woman heading towards them. She doesn’t know why she immediately thinks of the brunette as strange, but subconsciously she can sense that there is something slightly off about her, something not quite normal. Jade discretely shuffles to the side so that Daria is immediately in front of her, a great position for the Gypsy to be in, if the woman is indeed a threat and attempts to take aim at her.

Moira Santos - September 17, 2007 07:18 PM (GMT)
Moira kept the smile glued to her face as she approached the group. They were interesting to her.

She closes the distance, noticing that one of the girls had shifted position, like she was protecting the one that she was not in front of.

Are they scared or me? Or is there something else going on that could be more sinister? Tread lightly, very lightly.

She stops not far from them, but she is not close enough to touch. She was curious as to what their reactions would be.

Daria Fallen - September 17, 2007 07:25 PM (GMT)
Sensing that 'Rebecca' had shimmied behind her, Daria turns to glance at her, shooting her a confused look. (What is with this girl?) She wonders, reasons behind her skiddishness flooding her mind. The thought that she was a magical fugitive never eve ncrosses her line of thought. When Moira appraoches, Daria offers her a warm smile, glad to meet new people. "Hi," She says simply, not sure how to explain 'Rebecca's' actions. "Beautiful day, isn't it?" She asks, hoping to get the conversation going. She glances at Adrienne then back to Moira.

Moira Santos - September 22, 2007 08:49 PM (GMT)
Moira arches an eyebrow at watching the girl move into a protective mode.

I am not that dangerous. I'm a kitten really, unless you piss me off. she thinks, somewhat amused that she was the why behind the action.

She is still smiling when she hears Daria speak.

"Hi,"

"Hi."

"Beautiful day, isn't it?"

"Yes it is. Come here often?" Moria asks as she looks from Daria to Adrienne.

Jade Spring - September 23, 2007 09:45 PM (GMT)
Jade mentally scolds herself for her actions, knowing that her paranoid nature won’t get her anywhere but in more trouble. (Chill Jade. Just calm down) She forces a smile across her face, trying to amend for her behaviour moments ago. Inside though, all she wants to do is cringe. (Let’s go for breakfast already. What’s with all the talking to strangers?) The longer she stays in one place the more likely it is she might get caught, especially by any magical threats which may be out for her. Scrying is easy when the target is immobile. She’d be helping anyone that is trying to find her now by standing here. She can only hope that Xazor hasn’t found out about her transformation yet. If she had more information about how Leila was found out, she could better protect herself. (I should go down to that magic shop. I should be able to find something helpful there…a charm maybe?)

Daria Fallen - September 23, 2007 10:31 PM (GMT)
Daria nods, glancing around at the park. "Yeah, I try to get here as much as possible." She answers Moira. "When I'm off work, I come here every morning to do some Tai Chi." She continues. THe park was beautiful and her favourite escape from the city. Aside, of course, from the actual escape from the city. But with her work at the university, she doens't get much opportunity to get out of the city during school hours. Before she can continue, her belly grumbles even louder than last time. "Oh, dear." She says, feigning embarrassment at her bodily functions. "i suppose we should get moving, huh?" She says, glancing at Moira. "We were about to head to get some breakfast. Care to join?" She offers, wondering why she was suddenly inviting everyone out to breakfast. (Probably something to do with work.) It was in her nature to be friendly with pretty much everyone. Which made her such an approachable professor. It usually bled into her social life. So far, it hadn't gotten her into any serious scrapes. (Well ... Aside from that whole ... demon ... thing ... Last Christmas ... ) Her mind travels to all the interesting things she'd gotten herself into. Only half of which were premonition related.

Adrienne Holt - September 24, 2007 12:44 AM (GMT)
Adrienne feels herself grow slightly fretful as Jade-or 'Rebecca' as she knows her, continuously seems to throw up a guard around them. (Seriously, no one is that skittish. I mean yeah, it's like nine...but seriously...chick is a little weird.) The druid does not vocalize her thoughts, knowing it would probably serve to end the 'friendly' air rather abruptly.

"Oh, dear."

Daria's voice pulls Adrienne back into the present and she quickly recovers from her absence in the conversation. Only to cock an eyebrow at the sudden invitation the elder woman extends to Moira. Not that she has any particular issue with it, though it did seem strange since the girl hadn't exactly won her over with the singing dazedly bit earlier. (Meh, don't judge by covers. Let's just hope I'm being a bit of a jerk and she's not as...different as I was thinking.)

Adrienne shoulders her bag indicating that regardless of Moira's response, she is ready to depart for whatever location they choose whenever the other ladies are.

Jasmine Nightwish - September 24, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
Jasmine, now bored with the morning's events, lets out a soft sigh. There was a reason why she left this plane; look around. These idiots are just acting like everything is perfectly fine, and that they should introduce themselves to everyone they meet. Regardless, it was none of her business. She stands up now, still looking at the other women with an almost chilling look. Her hazel eyes peer out as she crosses her arms over her chest, her arm sleeves (ironically like a comic book character) snug tightly around her flesh. She walks away from the park, heading elsewhere for the time being.

Daria Fallen - October 2, 2007 06:48 PM (GMT)
Daria gives each of the women a smile and begins to back away towards the Park Entrance. She descretely examines 'Rebecca' again, wondering what was up with her. "Well, I'll meet you guys at Quake, then, okay?" She says, leaving the invitation open. (Great, Dar. What the hell have you gotten yourself into this time?) As she walks towards the entrance, she goes over what had just happened in her mind. She just shakes her head slightly, smiling at herself. If it got her in trouble, oh well. She could do with a little excitement.

Moira Santos - October 6, 2007 08:26 PM (GMT)
Moira nods as she heaves a sigh. She is just tying to establish a network and her desicion to join the group is probably not sitting well with the others.

Moia shrugs at that as she follows Daria. You cannot make eveyone happy all the time. she reminds herself as she walks towards the Park Entrance

Quake. What a name.

Adrienne Holt - October 8, 2007 11:33 PM (GMT)
Adrienne nods in agreement with Daria and watches as the woman heads off, followed by Moira. The young druid turns her attention to 'Rebecca' and smiles. Regardless of how jumpy the woman seemed, she figured it would only be fair to try and get to know her better before she passed judgment. (Of course that's a notion that can get you killed these days, but I think I'll take my chances.) "Want a ride? I've got more than enough room." The brunette girl cocks an eyebrow in friendly invitation and lowers her bag from her shoulder to momentarily retrieve her keys.

Jade Spring - October 19, 2007 06:43 PM (GMT)
‘Rebecca’ watches as two of the women depart on their journey towards Quake. She’s noticed that her behaviour has started to scare people off, but is more than happy to see that Adrienne isn’t one of these. (Loosen up. Just because some people are out to get you, it doesn’t mean everyone is. CHILL) Jade tells herself, knowing that she is being overly paranoid about her life being in danger. Sure, she should be on guard, but at the moment she is just being ridiculous.

“That would be great thanks. I don’t own a car, I always just use public transport” Jade replies, a little white lie added onto the end to make her sound a little more ‘normal’. (I miss being able to shimmer. I didn’t know how easy I had it)

Adrienne Holt - November 1, 2007 05:11 AM (GMT)
Adrienne smiles sympathetically and nods. "Been there done that. Luckily I was able to scrape together some cash to make my commute a little more personalized. Just follow me!" Adrienne starts towards the Park Entrance, briefly wondering if she was following the best course of action. She was after all allowing a total stranger to share a confined space with her. Still, she did have a few tricks up her sleeves. None that she would want to use, lest she risk exposure, but if need arose, she would be ready.

(Oh come on Adri, she's a little skittish, but I hardly doubt she's the next Manson. Just get to the damn restaurant before everyone else bails.)

The young druid turns her head back and smiles as she sees Jade following close behind.

Soleil - January 14, 2008 01:56 AM (GMT)
Soleil, standing with her belongings around her feet, looks out at the pretty much empty Golden Gate Park. It’s interesting to think that it’s all over. (It’s hard to believe, too…) She muses internally, crossing her arms over her chest. Her eyes scan the park, wondering what she is going to do with her life now. Go back to normal? As normal as life could be, she supposes.

Her eyes continue to gaze out until she sees Chris. She gives him a small smile and mouths the words “Thank you” as a general thank you for all that he has done for her. He’s been there, protecting her in more than just letting her stay at Sanctuary.

(I wonder if we’ll ever run into each other again…)

Chris Halliwell - January 17, 2008 11:53 PM (GMT)
Chris’ eyes wander across the land which the sanctuary previously occupied, a spark of gratitude in his orbs - happy that both Bianca and his spells were a success and by the looks of it, didn’t trigger any unforeseen consequences. The telekinetic catches the thanks Soleil mouths towards him. The gesture brings a mile wide smile to his face. (She’s got a killer body)

Chris can’t help but feel bad for the witch. She has nowhere to go now; she has no life to return too. She has no friends or family of his knowledge that she could go visit. All she has is the very little that now lies at her feet, well that and him. A thought occurs to him - he can’t just let her leave. Even if the feelings of attraction he’s having for her weren’t magically induced, he still wouldn’t allow her not to accept what he is about to propose. It just wouldn’t be right.

“Soleil” Chris allows the woman’s name to roll of his tongue as he makes his way over to her. “I just wanted to say that you’re more than welcome to stay with us if you want. It would be nice still having you around…”

Mirella Raine - May 6, 2008 05:45 PM (GMT)
Mirella stalks the park, potion in hand, eyes alert for any movement. After her short meeting with the others, she had gone back home to change and prepare for her fight. This included a vanquishing potion, which she now held in her hand. There was no telling what this beast may do. She had never dealt with werewolves before. She only knew they were evil. And evil must be stopped. Plain and simple. She fully believed it was evil that had killed her parents - It didn't matter that they didn't pay her much attention, they were still her parents. She believed evil is what took her away from her home. If it weren't for evil needing her to defeat it, or at least part of it, she wouldn't have had to leave her home in New York and live with her grandmother, precious as the woman is to Mirella now. Without having any real thing to blame, Mirella always blames evil for anything wrong that happens in her life. And whenever she has the opportunity to erase it form the earth, she seizes it. Now was no different.

The gypsy's eyes squint to see into the sahdows. There wans't much light here, so she assumes it would be the best place for the beast to hide, laying in wait to kill her. Or worse. She shudders. The thought of becoming evil was overwhelming. It sickened her. She physically gags at the thought. (Come on, pull yourself together.) She takes a deep breath and continues to search out this beast she needed to slay before defeating the bigger threat in Pain.

Werewolf - May 22, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
Though Roberts would like to say it was instincts to keep himself away from the innocents that led the werewolf to the relatively desolate Golden Gate Park, the truth of the matter is that Roberts has no control in this form. The beast ended up in Golden Gate Park because the transformation took place nearby. And now he is being hunted by some woman. Yes, him hunted!

The beast makes his way through the strange fog as he continues to remain out of sight - which is not difficult. His heightened sense of smell keeps him knowledgeable of Mirella's presence whenever she gets too close. Using that as a guide, the beast slowly makes his way around Mirella in an attempt to circle behind her. Maybe it was time to scare her off his trail if she is not growing tired of following it.

Mirella Raine - May 22, 2008 10:19 PM (GMT)
The gypsy's keen ears catch the sound of rustling leaves and other plant life behind her and she whips around as quickly as possible. But as she does so, the vial in her hand slips from her fingers and is tossed in the opposite direction. "Shit!" She mutters as the sound of shattering glass is heard. (That's all I brought.) Totaly fear and panic run through her. The beast would have her soon enough now. She was defenseless. Her eyes widen as she stares into the beast's eyes. (Okay, so what's this supposed to do, teach me how to not be scared in the face of danger?) Mirella breathes. (Okay, then. I can do this. I'm defenseless. Just my fists and my athame. Maybe a spell? That would probably help. Hmm.)

As Mirella's mind swirls with ideas, her eyes never leave the beast's large yellow ones. Had she really been paying attention, she would have noticed that the eyes of the other man were not angered or evil, but frightened and almost human. But she didn't see it. Either by choice or blinded by fear, no one could say. (I must defeat you so I can continue on with my destiny. The sooner we get rid of Pain, the better.)

"Alright, Harry, let's get this over with, shall we? I've got a demon goddess on the loose and I'm told I can't help defeat her until we get this over with." She finally say, mustering up the courage somehow. Meanwhile, her thoughts go over and over a spell that could get rid of this thing.

Werewolf - May 26, 2008 05:15 PM (GMT)
The breaking of the potion vial also grabs this big bad wolf's attention. It turns its large fur-covered head towards the area where the potion hit the ground. Sticking his snout outwards, the werewolf formerly known as Roberts uses its heightened sense of smell to try and determine the substance but is unable to. Unsure of whether or not to take the incident as a sign of aggressiveness, the beast decides to play it safe and growls in the direction of its hunter.

Initially, the beast had been intent upon choosing its own game, hunting the prey of its choice. He had even gone through trouble of trying to lose this woman, not wanting to take on something that dared to hunt it. But back an animal into the corner...

Running off pure instinct, as the human consciousness that once inhabited this form is currently suppressed to depths beyond reach, the werewolf gives off a howl and charges forward and at Mirella. It would appear that hunter has become the hunted.

Mirella Raine - May 27, 2008 02:46 AM (GMT)
Mirella's eyes narrow at the beast as it plunders towards her. Panic, fear, anxiousness, everything flow through her body in no particular order. It was her against evil. Again. It was time to show evil just what good could do. Time for Good to prevail once more. And she would be its faithful, loyal servant.

(And now we fight.) Not sure what else to do as the beast charges her, Mirella pulls her athame from her belt and holds it in her fist, aimed at the beast's ... Well, anything. She puts her right foot forward, hoping to put as much force into the lunge as possible.

Werewolf - June 7, 2008 03:41 AM (GMT)
Naturally evolving from the charge comes a leap that would normally be used to pin the prey before tearing into it hungrily. However, Mirella provides a small hitch in that plan with her blade that the beast does not take note of until it is already midair. Reconfiguring its target, the beast takes a swipe at Mirella's hand to, at the very least, keep the blade from piercing its soft underbelly - though given the strength of the werewolf, more is likely to occur from the attack.

The recalculation causes the beast to fly past Mirella during its attack, angling to the side. Though its possible that the beast side swiped her with its massive size on the way by. It was not aware of any contact but is not in the mood to care. It has been threatened and is now out for blood.

Skidding as it lands on the ground once more, the beast turns to face Mirella once more. It growls at her but makes no move to attack again. There could be more sharp objects involved afterall and this lycan is far from its expiration date.
