[A wave of energy passes over the mortal realm. It touches everyone and everything.

The result of this causes all mortals to forget everything that they know, or think they know, of the magical community. The only exception being those mortal who were aware of the magical community before the witch trials began.

As for magical beings, they will suddenly be aware that the witch trials are over. They won't know how or who is responsible, only that it is. Unlike their mortal counterparts, they will remember the witch trials and how bad things got in order to ensure that they are more careful in the future and hopefully prevent this from occurring again.]
