Because IF still has yet to transfer over to Zetaboards and because of the grand scale of world building in ACL, there are redirect forums. They include Bayside Apartments, Great Bay Apartments, Castle Llyr and Magic School. What does this mean exactly? Well when someone makes a post in those areas, it will not appear on the main index.

One way to discover whether or not there are new posts to read there is to use the 'Portal' link at the top of header banner. On the left hand side, there is a list of all the newest posts. I may eventually add one of those to index, but for now, you will have to use the portal. Or ignore those areas altogether, which I do not suggest doing unless you enjoy incurring the wrath of an admin.

Just a friendly reminder...

Don't think I am going to add a portal to the side of the index. I want to keep things simple. I'm also not too keen on letting the forums be visible on the index, where they are currently hidden, because it makes things look bad.

So until we switch to Zetaboards or I come up with a better solution, do try and remember that the apartment buildings, Magic School and Castle Llyr do, on occasion, have stuff doing down in them.

How about a thread here in announcements for those places that is updated whenever there's a posting going on? -curses redirect forums- I hate 'em too ...

Well there's pretty much always something going on at Magic School. There's a decent amount of OCs there. It isn't like ACL is terribly active. So a quick glance at the portal will usually tell you if there's any posting going on there.

True enough. Just thought I'd throw something out there.

I just happen to forget which ones are redirects because when I get here, I just look for the dark penticles, not the light ones. I tend to forget that there's redirect forums at all, actually, because of that.

So I think I will use this thread to post announcements about action taking place in redirect forums with the exception of Magic School, which should just be checked since there are so many OCs posting there anyways.
