The McGowan line pof witches is known to be a family most commonly endowed with powers of sight. Powers like Clairvoyane and illusions are as common in our blood as blue eyes. Trust in your powers and in your sight, they will never guide you astray.

A spell to make oneself Unseen

This spell will make one invisible for a length of time. Useful for spying and or escaping adversaries.


Let me fade into the air

To Call for Guidance in a Dark Time

It is not uncommon for a being of good to loose sight of their destiny. Tradgedy and loss can and liekly will bring you wo the brink of temptation. May this spell guide you through this time. Once the spell is said simply say help me. If done corretly help will find its way to you at just the right time.

Kalya- Demoness of Prophecy





Kalya is an upper level demon of great power. She once had quite a reputation in the underworld. Kalya was known to collect prophecies of any variety. She would sell or trade many of them. But also, Kalya would study prophecies that spoke of great good. She would carefully and decietfully manipulte people and events in efforts to prevent suck prophecies from being fufilled.


Kalya has clashed with the McGowan line several times in the past. The McGowans, being known for their powers of sight, interested Kalya greatly. In 1721 she kidnapped Tobias mcGowan, who was later murdered by her for failure to give her a meaningful prophecy. After repeated attacks on the family a final puch was made against the demoness. However Kalya had stolen the powers of Tobias when she had murdered him, making her impervious to any spell cast by a witch carrying Tobias's blood. Finally in 1727 Allastor McGowan succesfully bound Kalya to the astral plane, though how he managed to achieve this is unknown.


Be warned: Kalya is very dangerous. She can conjure energy balls at will, she can glamour into anyone she has touched, and she can shimmer. When Kalya killed Tobias she gained the power of premonition, making her even harder to defeat.

Psychometry: The power of the past

Psychoetry is the ability to bring forth visions of the past through contact with an object or person.

Premonition:

The power to see visions of the future through contact to psionic residue.

Wendigo's




Wendigo's are creatures born into the body's that have survived the attacks of another wendigo. Wendigos are large beast covered in thick brown fur. They have bright yellow eyes and long talons of the same color. A wendigo will feed on the three days surrounding a full moon, at which time it is most powerful. A wendigo feeds on the heart of a being of the smae blood type. Wendigo's can disguise themselves as in their human form, but they must change at night during the three days of the full moon.

A wendigo deeply fears fire, it is believed fire holds the key to a wendigo's demise.

Warlocks


Warlocks are the naturla enemy of witches. They hold the same basic abilities of spell craft, potion brewing, and scrying. Warlocks also hold the inate ability to Blink, allowing them to teleport in the blink of an eye. However this makes makes a warlock's eyes highly sensitive to light.

A warlocks main purpose is to kill witches and steal their powers. Luckily most warlocks can be vanquished with a simple athame. Although some of the more powerful ones may require a certain spell or potion.

To Reveal Hidden Magic

This spell can reveal hidden magic. It will negate invisibility, and it may also reveal whether or not a being is magical. The spell should take form in a blue light that will guide you to the hidden magic.

Gypsies


Gypsies are considered by many to be the sister breed to witches. A Gypsy, like a witch, has the ability to scry and cast spells. Also, Gypsies are the most proficient when it comes to potion brewing. A potion of a Gypsy has a much higher success rate than that of any other being.

Some Gypsies possess powers similar to a witch's, for example premonition. Gypsies can. liek witches, fall to evil and become Dark Gypsies.

Levitation-

The ability to negate grvitational effects on one's self and float usually anywhere form 8-12 feet in the air.

Empathy

The power to sense the emotions of another, with experience some can use this connection to channel and use another being's powers.

Possesion-

Power to project one's mind into another's and temporarily take over that person's body. Usually the possesor enters a comatose like state while in another's body, but in some cases this does not apply.

Telekenisis-


The ability to move things with one's mind. This pwoer is most commonly channeled through the hands or eyes.

Telepathy-


The ability to hear the thought of another. Telepathy can alos be used to send one's own thoughts to another.

Petrification Potion

Ingredients:
3 Bramble Leaves
1.5 Ounces of Ginger
4 table spoons of Powdered Holly Wood
1 table spoons of Powdered Mandrake Root
1 Thistle Flower

Fill a cauldron with warm and pure water. Bring to a boil over an open flame. Stir all of the powdered Holly into the water counter clockwise until it fully dissolves. Now, slowly stir in the mandrake with a clockwise motion. Break the ginger into small bits and add it carefully piece by piece. Next, take one of the bramble leaves, use it to stir the potion clockwise seven times before releasing it into the brew. Do this again with the second leaf, but now stir counter clockwise. Do this with the third leaf, clockwise. Now lower the heat on the cauldron so the brew boils less violently. Place the thistle flower on the top of the potion and let it float.

With an athame make a small cut along your finger. Hold this finger over the flower. Let your finger bleed onto the petals as you speak the following incantation.

"My magic I now add to thee.
As I wish so mote it be.
To the evil at which this potion is thrown.
Your body shall now be turned to stone."

Wait for the potion to turn to a deep red before pouring into vials.

This potion, when thrown at an evil being, should turn their body to stone for a period of time.
