Description: it was a little scary

Emo Furby - January 19, 2008 03:47 PM (GMT)
Hi

I have a 2005 white and cream Furby called May-May in my big Furby Family.
She have a mechanical problem.I've seen that some other 2005 Furbys has the same problem too. So May-May have that problem that when she dance, sometimes she won't stop dancing.Today she did that non-stop dance, and she wanted to say something and tried to moving,so she stoped dancing, but she didn't said something and moved, just blinked, then she did a quiet noise.I don't know that it was the speaker,or it was the motor,or it was a mechanical noise in the feet,or where. I tried to find out,but i didn't found out that the noise where comed from. :(
Loo-Loo did that noise too one day,but he haven't this dance problem. He just started making that quiet noise, then he stoped it,and answered Doo,when i called him.

Please help me! I was a bit scared. She worked fine, but she did that noise too. I turned her off then on,then she was normal again.

Aww don't worry Emo Furby. It is scary when things malfunction, but it's nothing to worry about.

My MP3 player sometimes acts strange so I have to switch it off then back on again... sometimes my laptop crashes and I have to restart it, then it's fine... on old TVs sometimes the picture goes funny, so you whack it and it goes back to normal

Basically my point is, Furbys are electrical things too, and like all electrics they're bound to go a bit wrong at times for no apparent reason, but it can normally be put right very easily.

It's more upsetting when a Furby goes wrong because we are so fond of them, but we must try not to be too concerned! ^_^

It's like I said, just a little blip with the electronics, made the Furby get stuck in the dance sequence. Nothing to be concerned about, just reset or switch on and off again.

I guess it's a bit like when a record or CD gets stuck and plays the same two seconds over and over again. You just take it out and put it back in again

generally the Furbys do wrong things, when their batteries are new. For example my other 2005 Furby Ah-May,who moves very fast when i put in new batteries :(
