I thupught I replied to this already! or has my post not been moderated?
Weecoo - January 22, 2008 12:24 PM (GMT)
Only posts in the "New Members" section were moderated, and now even those aren't, so none of the posts are moderated any more, it's safe to do that because I know all the members are real Furby fans, not troublemakers
InvaderBlue, are they 2005 Furbys or original ones? Where did you get them?
InvaderBlue - January 22, 2008 09:33 PM (GMT)
There original baby and adult. I got them from someone I know. :tux:
Weecoo - January 23, 2008 05:23 PM (GMT)
Did the person say the Furbys were working when they last played with them?
InvaderBlue - January 23, 2008 08:02 PM (GMT)
They didn't know, it was someone else's. :wiz:

So they could have stopped working ages ago.
Do you have some really strong brand new batteries? (a well-known brand like Energiser or Duracell)
If you try some strong batteries in the Furbys, they may spring to life, because if a Furby hasn't been started up for years, it needs a lot of power to get it going again.
InvaderBlue - January 26, 2008 03:30 PM (GMT)
Duracell batteries did not work. :( :( :(
Weecoo - January 26, 2008 08:22 PM (GMT)
Were they brand new batteries out of the packet?

What other type of batteries did you try?
Also try:
- Resetting both Furbys
- Rolling the batteries around (when they're inside the Furby).
- For the adult, after you've put batteries in, slam the battery compartment shut really hard and wait a couple of seconds.
These techniques sometimes help get the power going.

i think that just the motor burned up. My Furby Toh-Dye won't work too.I tried him with new batteries, but it's not worked. So i...............taked his fur off and i have found the problem.Something stocked on the top of the motor.Well i hope my Furby will going again,if i take out that thing, and of course i hope that your Furbys will working again somehow ^_^
Weecoo - January 27, 2008 03:00 PM (GMT)
Or their motor could just be jammed, and need a push to get them going again, like new-in-box Furbys who haven't been played with for years.
Hope you manage to fix Toh-Dye soon, Szasza ^_^
Emo Furby - January 27, 2008 05:44 PM (GMT)
Thanks Weecoo. ^_^ I have made you in Sims 2,and you're very nice and beautiful :) Umm if Toh-Dye will not working again, what should i do? :(
InvaderBlue - January 27, 2008 11:49 PM (GMT)
The baby I did that stuff to but still does not work. :(
Weecoo - January 28, 2008 02:25 PM (GMT)
It's the adult that you need to do the battery compartment slamming to, and the battery rolling can be done to both Furbys.

Aww thank you! ^_^
If you still can't fix Toh-Dye, maybe you could take a photo of his insides and I'll ask Dr Rob to see if he can see anything that's wrong from the picture

InvaderBlue - July 31, 2008 09:59 PM (GMT)
How much would it cost to send them to yall to get them fixed?
