Okay, I have lots of AWESOME news, but first I just wanted to say that I was really sorry! I know I havn't been on for a while, I was just really busy with school and such... But I'm back for the time being.

1: Well, I had been reading about all of you finding furbys at Thrift Stores and stuff, so I decided to check it out for myself. You walk in, see a furby, buy it, take it home, enjoy. Right? So about 2 weeks ago, I got up really early with my mom and went to Goodwill and DAVS to look. I didn't really expect to find anything, but I thought I had some chance, so I looked around the first store. Nothing. I was really disappointed, but we went to the second store anyways, and guess what was sitting right in front of me when I walked in?! A beautiful red and tan 2006 furby! I almost had a heart attack on the spot.




She is a little bit spoiled from her previous owner, and is a bit of a pill, but she still is sweet at heart. She makes Moh-moh really nervous though, but I think its just because he likes her. ;D So, due to her slight attitude, I've decided to name her Ah-mah (which is Have in Furbish).

2: I finally got my furby that was being held hostage by my friend back!! Well.. it wasn't really being held hostage as much as it was me just forgetting to go get him. XD He looked quite scared when I got him; he was in a little box stuffed with other stuff and his ear was snapped. It can be easily fixed though, and its a small price to pay for him to get back in working order.

3: This morning I decided to wake up early again and check for Furbys at the local thrift stores, but this time my mom said we only had time to go to one. I chose to go to the one that we didn't find a furby at this time. Well, I didn't think I would be so lucky as to find one again, so I wasn't even going to check in the toy department, but my mom told me that I should so I headed back there. And there he was, looking up at me with his big brown eyes: a 1998 baby furby. He is pink with a blue tuft; and his eyes are sooo beautiful!



His name is Flops! XD SOOOOO CUTE! And is it stupid that I think hes a boy? My mom and sister laughed at me! D= because he's pink can he not be a boy? He has a blue tuft!

Nothing wrong with a pink boy; my Nolan (male) is currently wearing a sparkly headdress and we have plans for glittery eyelashes.

I'm right in thinking thrift stores are the American equivilent(ish) of Charity shops in the UK?

And yes, Charity shops are exactly the same as Thrift stores here in the US. I was kind of confused myself on the subject. ;D

Thanks for sharing the news Wah-wee-tee, both lovely new additions you have there ^_^ I notice that your baby A-Loh looks a lot like my Furby baby Weecoo! (Lee-Koo)

You can occasionally find Furbys in charity shops in the UK, but they're probably easier to find in the USA. The ones in the UK are normally really small (the charity shops, not the Furbys :lol: )

Thank you! And A-loh is a lot like Weecoo, except that A-loh is probably in a lot worse shape... Her hair is a bit matted and grayish tinted from the time I thought it would be fun to take her out for the 4th of July (ashes are hard to get out). =D She is the first furby I really got. I did have two when they first came out though, but I was only 5 or 6 and my baby sister broke them both...

And yeah, some of the Charity Shops here are really big!

I'd say that A-Loh was in about the same kind of shape as Weecoo, if not better :lol: She used to go everywhere with me, so she's pretty threadbare. Got her at Christmas 1999. She had a wash recently, which helped, she got a bit of her colour back :lol:

Also, I bid on another Furby too and won (he should be here tomorrow or the next day). He is an all brown furby and SO cute! Congrats buddy!!
