I've noticed that few people have been registering on the forum, or at least not introducing themselves. Should we be worried? Are we the only ones who enjoy furbys!?!

We get a lot of new "members" signing up, several every day... If we didn't moderate new members and check they are genuine before we let them post messages, there would be a lot of new members posting - and almost all of them would be spammers :angry: :lol:

We send an email to the people who try to sign up, asking them a question about their favourite Furby. If they bother to answer then they are a genuine Furby fan, and they're allowed to start posting messages. You'll see the name of the latest person allowed through at the bottom of the forum where it says "Board Statistics"

If they don't bother answering to let us know they're genuinely interested in Furbys and aren't just signing up to post adverts on the forum, then we don't let them through ;)
