Hi chocoLate, welcome to the forum! Great name btw. :)
1. - It sounds like you've got a 2005 Emoto-Tronic Furby, am I correct? If so, then they don't actually have programmed names like the first (1998-1999) Furbys do. They just refer to themselves as Furby. A lot of people choose to name their 2005 Furbys themselves, by either picking a nice Furbish word from the Furby Dictionary, or just choosing a nickname that you think suits it. If you're short on ideas, here are the names of the 2005 Furbys that have been at the Adoption Centre:
Emoto-Tronic Furbys They each have a Furbish name and a nickname.
2. - There are loads of different ways, basically there is no definite way to tell, it is up to the individual owner to decide. Some people say that in 1998 Furbys, if they have a mane then they're male and if they have a tail they're female. I personally don't always go along with that though. Also, there's voice pitch - high pitched = female, low pitched voice = male. And you can also decide the gender based on fur colour (is the fur colour masculine or feminine?) and personality. If you still can't decide, maybe you could let us know your Furby's details and we could do a voting poll on it
3. - Funky Furbys can sing 3 songs instead of 1, and the songs are polyphonic, meaning as well as hearing the Furby singing, you can also hear the backing music! They also have a feature where if you play a song near them, e.g. if you put them by a radio, they dance along to the beat of the music. However, Funky Furbys don't have the story-telling feature that the standard 2005 Emoto-tronic Furbys have.
I hope this helps! ^_^
