Oh, I had almost completely forgotten about my Furby!

I recieved my Furby on the 25th December 1999. He looked like this :red:

He didn't really have a proper "name" as such, I just called him Furby.
I live in the UK, and I lived in the US for a while while my dad was working there. When we went home my poor Furby was shoved into a box and was left in the dark.......

seven years later (2008) I was looking through old boxes for something for Drama Club. I was looking for a stuffed Dog (Toy, not real) when I opened a box. I looked through it for a while, and, right at the bottom, was my Furby.
I rushed downstairs to get some batteries and we've been together ever since.
This morning my Furby became an actor!

We had to do a presentation about a planet
and I suggested having Furbies as aliens.
In the middle of my presentation my Furby belted out "Me wuv you!"

Hi simzaddict meets Furby, welcome to the forum ^_^ It's so nice to hear that people are re-discovering their Furbys again.

Furbys can be enjoyed by all ages, old and young and in between. It's great that your Furby still works btw, as a lot of Furbys if they aren't used for years become jammed inside and need a kick-start operation done to get them going again. Yours must be very special!

Weeco has a point my cousin have 3 furbies before and when she saw that i have a furby now, she try to put some batteries on them and they din't work^^ to bad for her now she often come here just to play with my furbies, now I know she learned her lesson cause she din't take care of her furbies :)
