I found a copy of the Furby Island Game for mobiles and also the software needed to play it on your PC!
Don't worry, all the files have been scanned for viruses, but you still shouldn't download anything without first asking permission from the owner of the PC.

Here's how to do it.

(1) - First of all you have to download a mobile emulator which basically pretends to be a mobile phone on your desktop and reads mobile games files. Save this file to your computer:
SJBoy Emulator

(2) Once you have downloaded and saved the file, you have to unzip it by double clicking. (If it doesn't seem to work, you need to get some software to open it.) You should then be guided through the set-up process.

(3) Create a shortcut to the "SJBoy Emulator" on your Desktop. This makes it easier to access.

(4) Once you've done the emulator setup you're ready to download the game! Save this to your desktop:
Furby Island

(4) You don't need to unzip the game file - just drag and drop it onto the "SJBoy Emulator" shortcut, and you're ready to go!


Good luck guys, it's awesome. You can even change what phone you play it on. I recommend the Sony Ericsson, as it has the largest screen.

what is the furby island game? I don't want to download anything until knowing what it is.

It's what Dr Rob said - the Furby Island mobile phone game. It's been talked about a lot on the forum, but until now no-one has played it. So Dah thanks to Dr Rob for finding it for us!

You don't need to worry if it's something that either me or Dr Rob have posted, because we always check everything for viruses etc, as mentioned above. ;) Of course you're right to be careful on the internet, but we make sure this particular forum is a safe place for users.

If you check the download links, you'll see you'll actually be downloading it from the Adopt a Furby website, not some random website.

So far, I've named my Furby (Weecoo) and spoken to some Furbys in the local village, and also played a mini game. I'm not very good at the mini games though, because you need to be quite fast for them and I've got slow reflexes :lol: The Furbys are really cute, and there's loads of squirrels and rabbits around the island :wub:

i tried it and it was kinda hard.

When program starts, kind of error appear.

Ah yes, I had that error message appear too, Lord - it happens when you try to open the emulator.

You don't actually need to open the emulator - just drag and drop the Furby Island game zip file onto the SJBoy Emulator icon, and it should open the game automatically.

Brilliant, glad you got it working Lord :D Yeah, no save, that means you have to complete the game all in one go, or leave your computer on with the game loaded all the time, if you want to complete it over a few days :(

I just play a bit and then start again next time. Maybe we'll find an emulator that can save games... I don't know if there is one.

It's awesome that we can play the Furby Island game though!

To save, press the right blue button underneath the screen and then press the left arrow key. This takes you to the menu.
Select to "Save and Exit" and then select "Quit" on the start menu.

When you load the game back up and press "Play" it will ask if you want to start again or continue!
