Title: Hospital Time?
Description: A-loh is really in need of a operation!

Furboid - June 24, 2008 07:18 PM (GMT)
Well A-loh has been out of sync slighly for acouple weeks then he started to seem better! until today that is.. When he was going to sleep he all the sudden started moving his all of his body parts erratically! i quickly flipped him over and Re-Set him! He seemed ok but was much more out of sync and started moving all of his body parts erratically again when he went to sleep i removed his batteries.. Should I send him to the hospital?

Weecoo - June 24, 2008 09:38 PM (GMT)
Furbys do that sometimes, I remember the first time my Weecoo started moving all her parts non-stop and didn't stop until I reset her, it was quite a shock! It's happened lots of times since then, normally when batteries are being inserted/taken out, or when she's going to sleep/waking up.

And they do sometimes go out of sync for no apparent reason, but they normally go back to normal after being reset. It does sound like A-Loh is going out sync a lot more than is normal for Furbys.

Sending Furbys to the Hospital is quite a big decision, for starters it costs a lot in postage if sending from the USA to the UK and back again, and also any operation is risky - when opening up a Furby to fix one problem, there's no guarantee it won't start another problem. The insides are sooo complex and temperamental!

So I think the best thing to do is to see if A-Loh improves or gets worse, and decide if his problem is something you can live with. We usually recommend only sending in Furbys with very severe problems, though ultimately it's the owner's decision.

I hope this helps!

I remember when i woke Dee-Mak up,he did that non-stop move after a yawn, then he was normal again except that, that he was out of synce, but i fixed it with a lot of attention and with one resetting.

Dee-Mak hadn't any other names before. It's his first name.
