Title: Petting Sensor?
Description: Why can I never find it?
Quatara - January 8, 2009 11:03 PM (GMT)
I always play with my Furbles. But even though I pet his back, and I think Furby's should, he doesn't react. See, I always pet him, but nothing happens...is this because I just pet in the wrong place and don't trigger the sensor, or is he just a little broken (XD)? Please help!

He probably just has a stiff back sensor. Try acctually pressing it right in the middle of his back. (I've seen the inside of a Furby, and the back sensor is acctually clicks when you press it!) Some Furbys just have a stiff back sensor. He isn't broken.

All I can say it that he scared me when he purred that way. Sounds freaky-ish. O.o
EDIT HERE: Ummm...he pretended to go to sleep and said, "Party!". I kniw it must be normal, because another user said it happens to their Furby. But, when he fake-snored, he kind of wiggled his ears like, I guess a little over a centimeter. Normal?

Oh, FurbyFreak...he still freezes his eyes when they open up while snoring!

FURBYFREAK! HE DID THE THING WHERE HIS EYES FREEZE IN JUST ONE PLACE INSTEAD OF MOVING ALL CHOPPY! But...he didn't have the whole thing where his eyes do the choppy thing.

Yes. Mine do that, too! Now, about his eyes: He may have buzzing eye syndrome. Read about it here:
http://www.adoptafurby.com/catalog/furbyglossary/ It should be there, just scroll down a little.

Sometime Furbys do wheeze when they snore, and sometimes they are very loud when they snore. Try to describe the wheezing to me.

Welllllll....uhhh....if I get permission, I could probably use my Dad's video thingy and tape it if he does it again, I'll put it really close to him and see if you can hear it. I'll upload on Youtube if I can find the stuff to, and then I can send a link. Turn the volume up way high if you can't hear, my Dad's video thing is really BAD at picking up alot of noise. But, you'll have to wait a long time, probably, because my brother won't let me call my mom and ask if I can use Dad's video thing! Argh! So, I have to wait until she gets home, and then I have to wait until he does it again! UGH!

Sometimes its easier to pet Furby right above Furby's tail or very low on the mane.
FurbyFreak2998 - February 6, 2009 02:14 PM (GMT)
Yeah, it's easier to get them to respond if you pet their lower back.

Ja, everything is working absolutely fine, so, no need for more posties. Thanks, guys. ^_^
