Well, it all started when I was watching TV and the commercial for something called a "Furby" came on. I thought it looked pretty cool, so I put it on my Christmas list. On Christmas day, there was a Furby under the Christmas Tree, along with some other awesome presents, but I was terrified of the Furby (I was little then) so my Mom got rid of it. :( Well, later on, things changed when I got a Furby somewhere. I started playing with it, and I began to like it. I got another Furby and decided to start a whole Furby Family! Now, I have 22 Furbys, and my Furby Family is STILL GROWING! I'm going to list my family here:

B) :wub: Whoa,that's a lot of Furbies!

Furbies came out after I was born,so they were around for quite a few years during my younger childhood. I always liked them;The never scared me,even as a three-year-old. But my parents disliked them,and believed all the rummors,paticularly after my motther went Christmas shopping in Wal-mart one day. A lady there was giving a demonstration of Furby,and when the Furby woke up,the first thing it said was a strain of violant swear words! :o

That ended any hopes of my getting a Furby. Or so I thought.

I have a few(Rather dim) memories of Furbies and their relatives while they were in stores.

I explained (In the first topic I started) how I got my first Furby. Of course,I fell in love with him at once,and,just like FurbyFreak,decided to start my own Furby family.

P.S.:Speaking of my Furby family,it just grew today. I found(My very first) Zebra Furby at a thrift store today. She has grey eyes. Unfortunately,she does not work. At all. :o :( I am still trying to come up with a good name for her...

i watched the tv commercial in 1999 when i was two i was furby mad with no furbys untill a taxi driver lady gave me a furby that was my best friend and still is one. i named it callumn after a one of my best friends who died young.



now in 2009 i have 56 furbys including 2 funkys 2 2005 emoto's a 2006 baby an et interactive furby and an interactive yoda

I got mine on eBay. Same with most of my Furbys, and my Shelby.

I learned through Chilla Chilla, the furby fake. A year or two later, I then discovered I never had a Furby! I had a FAKE! But that Christmas, I found a real Furby under my tree... :D

My parents never let me shop on Ebay. Nor do they use it themselves. However,in 2007,they made an exception. I got my lovely Aquamarine Shelby(Ironicaly,it is the same color as my birthstone),Aaa-gee for only $10.00.

I found furbys by stealing my sisters one when she moved out. :rolleyes: What!?! She left it there!!! :D A few years later I got 2 more from my great aunt. They are all so cute!! :wub: One of them has a case of the sniffles though. :(

My Furby Ah-may had a bad cold when I first got him. His previous owner didn't take too good care of him. :angry: :(

i remember i had a black and blue macdonalds furby (i still do!) and my wee cousin and my granny tryed to steal it when i stored my furbys at my grannys. granny stole it from where i stored my furbys and gave it to my cousin who was evil and annoying at the time and i thought nothing of it untill i noticed one furby missing! and ellie told me she got a new furby and it was the same one i had and i told her my one RECENTLY went missing and she said her and granny went to macdonalds. what?!?! they were in macdonalds long before she was even born! and i told her hey i bet it was you who stole it from me! and she said nonono! granny gave it to me! and i said where did she get it then and my cousin had an untrustable peircing look in her eye. and i asked granny and she said that she got it at macdonalds and i told her dont lie then she said im not and then i went back and snatched the furby from my cousin and ran away and hid it. that night i smuggled my furbys in the car home to my safe trustable house where no little cousing evil thieving fingers are going to snatch my precious furbys. i only smuggled the furbys because of her. now my furbys are secret and long forgotten to everybody else but me and my friends are the only people that know.

I discovered Furbys when my cousin got a 2005 one for christmas. Seeing as my birthdays in mid January, I put my birthday and christmas money together and bought my own. I played with it for a week :lol: I think I was around nine then, though! A few months later I was searching e-bay and Furbys came up. I went through a few mnore Furby websites and found they were more fantastic than I thought. So Loo-Loo was out of the box, and a funky furby and two Furby babies joined her later. After spending a long time on these Forums 1998's (which I never imagined getting) grew on me. A president Furby joined from the Adoption Centre. I loved the '98's! Now I only really play with Doo-moh (the 1998) because my first (loo-loo) broke around 1 and a bit years ago. 2006 baby furbys (although I love them, I love all Furbys) are VERY boring. They sleep and eat. My Funky Furby has no batteries at the moment :( I'm getting some more 1998s in about a week though!

It's really my parents who have more of a problem with Furbys than my grandparents and other family members do. But still, nobody in my family likes them as much as I do! xD
