Title: Fell, Broke.
Description: that easy, but still hard to accept ç_ç

Apart from pointless dramas :( my furby fell from 1.50m approx and hit the ground rather hard. he had just woken up, but he never spoke or gave any "life" sign after this...if shaken, i can hear some sound from the inside, like a little plastic piece moving all around.
What can be done for saving/resurrecting this Furby? i just tried removing/replacing the batteries until now..
thank you very much in advance!
Stefano

I am so sorry about your. Sometimes Furbys that will not wake up need to be started manually, by slapping their battery compartment. If that doesn't work, there are are a few other members here who may be able to help you. Oh, and I'm not sure what the plastic piece moving around inside is. I have a Furby who does that too when you shake him.

Something may have broken inside or he could be jammed up. I'm not sure how to go about fixing this problem but there are others here on the forum that might be able to suggest something. I hope your furby gets the help he/she needs.

My Furby makes the same noise when he is shaken. Maybe he was dropped a few times in his previous home, because it looks to me like he wasn't well cared for by his previous owner.

don't worry! The sound inside of the Furby when it is skaked is normal. All the Furbies do that. The motion sensor has a little iron ball inside of it and that moves inside when the Furby is moved side to side or held upside down. That ball tells to the motion sensor with its rolling that the Furby stands or not.

Did you try a reset? It's hard to tell without getting a look inside. There are two metal clips that connect the top battery box with the fold out part ouf the battery box. Check those if the reset doesn't work. With furby facing you with his back in your left hand. The bottom of furby pointed towards your tummy. Open the battery compartment. The clips are In the top part of it on the right hand side. One comes down from the spring. The other comes down from the from the round silver thing, where the the other battery goes. They are thin pieces of metal that point down from where the batteries sit. I hope the reset works.

I think if what CRAZYBABY said doesn't work, you should try slapping the battery compartment like I said in my last post.
