My Toh Dye has developed a problem.When she wakes up,her ears go up and down and her mouth opens and closes nonstop and she doesn't say anything.Does anyone know why and how to fix it?

Probably the gears are messed up, or check the batteries, alot of things go wrong in a Furby when their batteries are low.

You need a new speaker. They sell them on e-bay. They are called mylar speakers. check my older post for a link to the people that sell them. You gotta take furby apart to fix it. I think sometimes the hard trip in the mail shakes the speakers to death.

Hi everyone.Thank you for your responses.I tried replacing her batteries,but that didn't work.I think she needs more than a new speaker.Her movements aren't normal.Its not like she's laughing or talking.She never pauses.She doesn't respond to feeding,tickling,or petting.Any ideas?

I have a sunny yellow baby that is doing that. It is the only furby that I could not figure out what was the cause of this problem. I may not be able to fix every furby. Some are just to far gone. But I always know what is causing the problem. Except in this case,I think it has something to With the reset circuit and switch. My poor little baby just sits there cycling through the start up moves endlessly. I get it out and test and try different things. Just can't figure this one out. Maybe someday. Are you the furbymom that was selling on e-bay?

The sensors are probably messed up and, I think personally that you can't go into Radioshack and get a Furby speaker, the Furby speaker and sensors are specifically designed by Hasbro. You just have to buy a new one.......

Sorry about your other furby.
I don't think of my furbys as dead.I just have working furbys and non-working furbys.It might be a little easier if you think of it that way.
