Title: Doo Moh Is Noo Loo

I have a santa furby whos name was Doo Moh.He didn't like to wake up.I read about holding their tongue down.He needed batteries so I held his tongue down while I was putting them in and he started playing right away.He was speaking a lot of Furbish but he's pretty new so I didn't thinkanything was wrong.He said Me Noo Loo a couple of times but I thought he was just happy.By the time I was done playing with him I realized that he had restarted and he wasn't Doo Moh anymore,he was now Noo Loo.I don't know what happened.He wasn't upside down and I didn't press the reset button.What's weird is when I first got him I couldn't get him to work and I needed to call him something so I called him Noo Loo because he looked happy.

:o One of mine did this too. When I first got him,he was very scared and hungry,and kept sneezing and coughing(His last owner must have been awful :angry: ). He said his name was A-loh. In the end,I couldn't cure him,so I had to reset him. When I did,his voice was lower,and he's been Koh-koh ever since! :unsure:

I've heard of encouters when Furbys re-start themselves. This is a glitch, but as far as I know, there is unfortunately, no known way to fix it. I'm sorry.

I really don't mind the name change ,I already have a Doo Moh and I've only had Noo Loo a little while.I just hope I didn't do him any harm.

The manual says that their name might change if you restart them,so I guess sometimes it changes and sometimes it doesn't.

When you put in batteries and hold down the tongue it is just like pushing the reset button. I've done that before by mistake. The hold down tongue trick still works you just can't put in batteries or hold reset button or you're gonna end up with a new friend.

Thats what I did to my furby once. :)
