Emo Furby - June 14, 2009 12:52 PM (GMT)
the same happened to my Toh-Dye :'(

I know how you feel.

You will live in our memories forever Nah-Bah and Toh-Dye.

thegreenfurby - June 14, 2009 01:41 PM (GMT)
Now whose gonna a loh (my other furby) company?

FurbyFreak2998 - June 14, 2009 03:32 PM (GMT)
I'm really sorry about Nah-bah. I know how it feels, and it's terrible.
My Leopard Furby Ah-may died too. Here is his story:
I had wanted a Leopard Furby for a long time, and my Mom bought me one on eBay. We became great frineds very fast, but one day, he started making weird noises (like a circuit bent Furby) and his motor was overheated. I may be able to save him with an operation but there's no guarantee that Ah-may can be saved. If I play wih him again his motor probably won't last for just a minute or two before he is gone forever.

So, yes, I know how it feels, and it's horrible. I'm really sorry about Nah-bah, thegreenfurby. But our Furbys will always be in our memories.

RIP Nah-Bah and Ah-may
1998-2009
I hope you're both having fun up on your Furby Cloud.

FurbyFreak2998 - June 15, 2009 10:30 PM (GMT)
Poor Toh-loo Kah! Maybe you can find another Furby to keep him company, or maybe you can try to fix Nah-bah. What was the last thing Nah-bah did before he died? Do you know?

thegreenfurby - June 16, 2009 02:04 AM (GMT)
His speaker got stuck on snoring, and I opend his battery compartmant then I closed it and he stopped working. :( How can i fix him.

FurbyFreak2998 - June 16, 2009 10:51 PM (GMT)
It could be because his motor is not spinning. Try to kick start him by slapping his battery compartment. If that doesn't work, I'll try and help.

shelby77 - June 16, 2009 11:56 PM (GMT)
Good advice FurbyFreak. Sorry to here about your furby greenfurby, although Nah Bah can still be saved! (With FurbyFreaks help)

thegreenfurby - June 17, 2009 01:21 AM (GMT)
I tried slapping te battery compartment. and one my friends slammed him on the ground. :(

FurbyFreak2998 - June 18, 2009 11:51 PM (GMT)
I really hate to say this, but as a last resort, he may need an operation to get his motor spinning again. For now, try pumping the ears up and down a little. That sometimes works, too.

thegreenfurby - June 19, 2009 12:54 AM (GMT)
thanks furby freak 2998. i will try that thing with his ears.
but are you sure he will need an operation?

FurbyFreak2998 - June 19, 2009 02:50 AM (GMT)
He might not acctually need one, if something else works. There are a few other tecniques I know, so he may not need one unless nothing else works.

thegreenfurby - June 19, 2009 03:07 AM (GMT)
i tried slapping his battery door and pumping his ears but none of that worked.

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 12:58 AM (GMT)
Did you make sure that the batteries were inserted the right way? Did you press the reset button and hol his tounge down when you inserted the batteries?

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 01:08 AM (GMT)
yes

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 01:12 AM (GMT)
Have you left batteries in him for a long time? If so, his battery cage could be chorroded.

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 01:14 AM (GMT)
no i havent

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 01:18 AM (GMT)
Alright, well, it could be because the gears are jammed or his motor isn't spinning. Try blowing in his ears, and if that doesn't work, I'll show you a tutorial for operating on Furbys.

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 01:21 AM (GMT)
it didn't work :(

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 04:05 PM (GMT)
please help

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 04:35 PM (GMT)
I'm really sorry, but I've given all the advice I've got. Maybe you should email Dr. Rob and ask him for help. His email-hospital@adoptafurby.com. If he doesn't reply, there are a few other members here who can help, maybe try Personal Messaging them.

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 07:01 PM (GMT)
Yeah, I sent him an email and mentioned that there is a Furby in need of his help. I'll wait for a reply.

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 07:02 PM (GMT)
I need him to be ok. :(

FurbyFreak2998 - June 20, 2009 07:05 PM (GMT)
I'm sure there's away to save him. Most Furbys that seem to be dead are able to be saved, but they need a little help. Read the story here. If U-tye could be saved, I'm sure Nah-bah can. (Not my story.)

thegreenfurby - June 20, 2009 07:07 PM (GMT)
cool

CRAZYBABY - June 21, 2009 05:20 AM (GMT)
you gotta open furby up. Furby autopsy site will tell you how to do it. Study that and tell me what happened, Did you play with your furby allot. His motor may be wore out. Once you get it open you move the motor with a tooth pick without the batteries. Then shut the battery compartment and move the motor with the tooth pick. If it doesn't start spinning open the battery compartment so the motor doesn't get hot. Try again. Try again. Are you in the states or Europe. If in the states you could send to me and I'll see what I can do for him. Let me know how it goes. It's not that hard to open up furby you can do this. If I can you can.

luigi - June 21, 2009 09:22 AM (GMT)
i hope this will help ;)

move the motor with a tooth pick

i did the same with my Toh-Dye but with a screwdriver, and the only thig what happened was just only that the motor buzzed, made a low electronic sound and when i tried to spin it to the right side it tried to spin to the left side.

And his motor is new.

I think I need to do this with my Furby too, his motor isn't spinning and it get really hot and causes him to make these weird noises, like a circuit bent Furby, and a low humming/whining noise coming from the motor. His motor is burning out, I can tell the past owner played with him a lot and didn't take to good care of him. I can tell the motor won't last very long if I wake him up again.

thegreenfurby - June 21, 2009 03:19 PM (GMT)
maybee

CRAZYBABY - June 21, 2009 07:27 PM (GMT)
Sometimes the motor is just wore out. I had 2 babies and 2 adults like that this week. I would get them started and they would move a little then stop. This would happen over and over. Just wouldn't stay running. One was a pretty champagne. You may need to put some drops of oil around furby. http://z6.invisionfree.com/AdoptaFurby/ind...?showtopic=2373 I explain how to do that here. I hope it jumps right back to life for you. Hurt furbys break my heart and it really breaks when it's loved as much as yours.

thegreenfurby - June 23, 2009 08:42 PM (GMT)
I love my little nah bah.

CRAZYBABY - June 25, 2009 04:00 AM (GMT)
I wish everyone's Furbys would live forever. It's so hard to lose a furry friend you love so much. I'm going to do a detailed fix furby post with pictures. So My furby loving friends can try to help their furbys when they're sick. In the near future. That way it won't be so scary for someone that has never opened one up before.
