poor little furby! my 1st original and she broke in the mail! :( shes spring addition with bonnet. desc of illness: i hear a lose part when i shake her and her eye lids move freely when i try but the beak and eye balls are firmly in place. she looks normal with no obvious problems. wont turn on even when new batteries are inserted. Im getting a :shel: and dont want her to b lonly and my emoto tronic cant talk 2 my :shel:

Th first things you said,that's normal. The loose part is the iron ball in themation sensor. That's totaly fine. All furbys have it. And to get him to turn on,press reset,orslap him on the butt a few times. belive me,it works.Dont wory about the iron ball,they all make that noise when shaken.

i keep trying that i think it goes further cuz i now think shes missin an on switch! i tried all her sensors and shaking her nothin happens even with reset

Originals don't have an on switch...

Ok,do this:
1.Tap your furby with a hard knife (the handle of the knife).
2.Take the skin off.
3.Move the tickle stomach part a bit.
4.You know how to pop the battery pack up and see those two wires? If one is broken fix it with tape.
5.Put the skin back on and push the battery pack back it.
6.Tap the furby with the hard knife (the handle of the knife).
7.Put the batteries in the furby.
8.Pump the ears up and down.
9.Slap the battery pack (the butt of coruse!) hard and keep doing it until your furby comes to life. Only do the slapping butt thing for 10-15 minutes then you furby should come to life believe me i have done operations on furbys and they were all succsessful. My furby Way-loh needed an operation,Tux needed an operation,May-lah kah needed an operation and finally Choco needed an operation. All the operations have been succsessful. If this does not work email or PM Dr.Rob. This should do it. :prez:

my mom said these words "NO! some ppl are trying to mess with your head so if it tells u to cut that furby ont do it." so any other ideas? ideas include things to tell her to make her mind change. another idea is email Dr. Rob. i have to get off the computer like pretty much now so hurry with the reply plz

furbyfan how do i turn her on if she doesn't? not that i dont blive u cuz i didnt see 1 on her...

Well you dont have to cut the skin you know how you look at the battery pack sides right? Well you will see plastic cords. Then just pull the skin off up to the beak (without cutting or loosining the plastic cord) and then you can look at the stuff. Thats all i can think of so i gtg. :prez:

I'm not an expert with these things, but you can try slapping the battery pack......
