Title: Jerry
Description: Church Mouse

Ash-Morgan - June 13, 2007 04:50 PM (GMT)
Our Church mouse Furb Jerry has an odd problem. He keeps resetting himself, and stopping working mid sentence (so to speak). Then he will suddenley start again by resetting himself, working for a bit, and then stopping. Its most unerving, as he just starts up and frightens everyone. Any ideas of what to do?? Its almost like something isn't quite catching all the time.

I've got a bumblebee that is prone to getting himself up - he's the one hubby was threatening to chuck out the bedroom window at 2:00 am and at 3:30 am one night. He has to live elsewhere now in a drawer because he can't be trusted :( :(

Ash-Morgan - June 13, 2007 05:22 PM (GMT)
  Maybe Bumblebee and Jerry should get together............

Last night, poor old jerry still hadn't gotten any sleep, so I deceided to try and put him in deep sleep mode................when I pressed his tummy and back together, he started making sounds like a keyboard???????   Finally got him to sleep by making the room dark!Wierd!

jerry seems to be working better today (I've probably jinxed him now!) , but still keeps waking himself up!!!!!!!My nerves are in tatters!!!

Weecoo - June 14, 2007 09:24 PM (GMT)
How strange  I've never experienced that before... The closest I've got to a Furby waking up by itself is my talking Furby clip clock. It speaks the time in a Furby voice, but it's meant to be only when you press its head.... Not when you're in the cinema, or when you're at the front of the queue at the post office

Ash-Morgan - June 15, 2007 08:33 AM (GMT)
He woke up last night while hubbie was watching (More like sleeping) the sport..........I was nearly a very rich woman!!!!!!!

Have you got a photo of your talking Furby clip clock? Its sounds ace!!!! :D :D :D

He has a lot of flowers, he must water them every day to keep them looking like that

Question, for Dr Rob, or Weecoo - Jerry is still behaving erratic. Alot of the time, he won't work - if you push his bottom up (!!!) he will work a bit - its almost like something is not quite catching. Is there anything i can do - would stronger batteries help?????

Cyberwolf - June 30, 2007 05:49 PM (GMT)
Yeah, he only seems to work a bit, then he resets himself again. The only way to get him working a bit, is to push is bottom. Any suggestions, Dr Rob?

Fayik - July 1, 2007 03:33 AM (GMT)
Aww, he is a real cutie. Tell him I love his garden

I don't know what to do with that problem, I haven't ever heard of it. Sorry, good luck though! :)

Jerry is trying to grow his garden even more! Hopefully he will suceed! ^_^

Cas - July 1, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
Hope you get Jerry fixed - I see he likes gardening, he's very welcome to come here and help :) -

I've got 2 furbys who get themselves up now Angel did it too.

She was sitting on the shelf over the computer with Hubble (the halloween furby) an ulikely friendship I know, and myself and hubby were huddled over the keyboard trying to resolve a problem hubby had got himself into when up she got.

Having 2 of them doing it is very bad for hubbys nerves - and I think he's started to twitch now

Its an odd one - he's such a cutie pie, but its like something is not connecting. At the moment, he has stopped working, only slighly if you bounce his bottie!!!

Cas - July 1, 2007 07:58 PM (GMT)
You'll have to sit him on your knee and bounce him while you watch TV :D

You know, my Girraffe furby always would stop working, and I'd have to open the batterey compartment, close her up, tap on the back and all of that....

Now that Way-loh has returned, she does exactly what Jerry does, but not all that often.

So be thankful, it could be worse! ^_^

Can't get Jerry to work at all now! Tryed changeing the batteries - no good!  :(

kohkoh - July 3, 2007 01:34 PM (GMT)
Ash Morgan is it the connectors in the battery compartment, the tiny silver pieces either side, perhaps they are not catching properly, hark at me Dr Rob the 2nd

No one of mine had that problem and I put two tiny pieces of tin foil, and my Furby works, not recommended for permanent use but try it if it is the connectors.
