I put some batteries in Way Loh recetly, and for the first few seconds she moved sort of slow, but was up to speed in no time. But all the while, her motor sounded like it was skidding. I'm not complaining, honest, but it just doesn't sound right.

Will oil help? Does she require new and out of the box batteries?

I really don't know. You shouldn't worry about little sounds Furbys make, most of them don't mean anything. It's bound to happen. they're only human afterall. :P
