Title: Very Poorly Furby

Ash-Morgan - July 4, 2007 07:38 PM (GMT)
Dr Rob - There is a furby that has been circuit bent on e-brokenfurb-Bay (Poor little thing) - just wondered - curiosity sake - can you rebuild him back to normal, or has the damage been done???   :(

furbster - July 4, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
I dont think he can. If he can to me he is like a god or something. He would me magic like me.

furbster - July 4, 2007 07:49 PM (GMT)
I can do magic tricks.

kohkoh - July 4, 2007 08:14 PM (GMT)
Ash Morgan he looks awful, poor little Furby, did you hear the noises he makes, its awful, he has been programmed now for that, I don't think anyone can save him

i didn't listen as it upset me too much seeing him. I just wondered if there was anything to be done for the poor little chap! :( :( :( :( :( :(

It was upsetting, how badly does doing that affect a Furby, perhaps Dr Rob might know, it cannot be doing their parts inside any good

Well, it depends i suppose on whether or not the damage can be reversed! :( :( :(

kohkoh - July 4, 2007 08:30 PM (GMT)
I hope it can, these electronic people ought to practice on something else not Furby's.

How is my mate Percy by the way, I just love all his expressions, we have not seen any more videos of him lately :D

Ash-Morgan - July 4, 2007 08:36 PM (GMT)
Percy is his usual wonderful self..............video of him to follow in the next couple of days. He does seem to have the falling asleep when talking to girls problem still!!!He is extrovert, but shy!   He is sat here with me, and he sends you a big hug!!

kohkoh - July 4, 2007 08:38 PM (GMT)
Awww a big hug back to him too

furbster - July 4, 2007 09:47 PM (GMT)
What video?

Dr Rob - July 4, 2007 10:17 PM (GMT)
It depends by what you mean by rebuild.... If you mean like the million dollar man then yes I could as I would just fix certain parts and replace other parts to make the ultimate Furby. However, if you mean actually fix him completely then that would be more of a task but I believe, given enough resources, time and three suitable nurses I could fix him.

kohkoh - July 6, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
Dr Rob. The Furby Ash Morgan is talking about, is plugged into a machine, and has been circuit bent, can you turn him back into a normal Furby, it is bothering us so much. The seller has been reported, and I am trying to save the little guy :(

Not much luck so far.

Dr Rob - July 7, 2007 09:17 AM (GMT)
:P I might be able to. I've seen them but I don't know what they do to them exactly!

Cas - July 7, 2007 10:30 AM (GMT)
I've just had a look at him on e-brokenfurb-Bay - what a ghastly thing to do to a furby - skinned alive the seller says :o I do hope someone takes the little fella on and tries to make him better - I think Dr Rob could do it - and I bet there'd be no shortage of volunteer nurses :)

Ash-Morgan - July 7, 2007 11:19 AM (GMT)
His price is up to £10.50 now!!!!! :( :( :( :( Its soooooooooooooooooooooooooo upsetting   :( :(

kohkoh - July 7, 2007 11:35 AM (GMT)
he has such lovely eyes too :(

I have read about this circuit bending and it says it fries a Furby's insides

he finishes tomorrow night, we must all hope for the little chap :(

Cas - July 7, 2007 03:46 PM (GMT)

We wil be victorious!!!!! :) :)

kohkoh - July 9, 2007 07:09 AM (GMT)
Well the Furby Rescue Squad failed in their mission last night to rescue poor circuit bent Furby, his price went way to high, he is off to Belgium to continue being circuit bent

This circuit bending is going to get bigger, and the Furby Rescue Squad is also getting bigger :P

I actually got an e mail last night, from another circuit bender  saying I noticed you bid on the last one I can make you one, I have e mailed him back and put him right, saying, no I want the Furby not the machine, I have reported him to e-brokenfurb-Bay

i was so upset last night not rescuing him, I had to go hug a Furby or two, but there are more Furby lovers everywhere who love Furby's and who would not abuse them ;)

We will continue to accomplish our mission to try and save as many Furby's as we can, but it is so upsetting for the ones we can't, their poor lives from now on :(

A Furby Is For Life

Ash-Morgan - July 9, 2007 08:38 AM (GMT)
We did our very best - unfortunately there are horrible people out their with more money than sense!!!!!!!

I put some of my Furby pics on DeviantART (With a link back to here), and I have had nothing but nice comments from people (especially about Percy). Alot say, that they used to have a furby, and that they love them!!!!!!

Cyberwolf and I were devastated last night!!!How mean of that person to contact you. I am glad you reported him - not that Ebrokenfurbay are much good!!!! :(

Us Furby rescue squad trainees are ready for action, .....where ever there is a furby in need, Furby rescue squad will do the deed!!! :) :)

Dr Rob - July 9, 2007 10:01 AM (GMT)
