Since Paddy had that photo taken earlier, he has seen a photo of his cousin Percy's hairstyle, and he has been in front of the mirror grooming and raising his spike all afternoon

Weecoo - July 11, 2007 11:27 PM (GMT)
 Glad he arrived safely... When he was being packaged, I worried that his hair was going to get flattened and need a whole tub of gel to get it back up again, but it's looking mighty fine now B)

Hiya Ash

Well Paddy has met all the Furby's and the boys all want a spike like his, but some of their top knots wont spike

He is thoroughly enjoying himself getting up to lots of mischief already, some of the girls want a spike too, but I told them no

He is a right chatterbox, they are all playing Deal Or No Deal at the moment

Deal or no deal is a tv show/game.

There are 26 cases, you have to choose one of the cases to keep in the beginning.
You then have to guess a case, and see how much money there is in it. The lower the better, because the case u guessed goes away.
If you get 1 million, you loose it... And there is so much more, someone else care to explain?

Dr Rob - July 13, 2007 05:30 PM (GMT)
After about every three boxes opened, the 'banker' phones up and offers you 'x' amount of money for your box. (It's usually slightly lower than the average of the boxes left) You can then choose to 'deal' and take the amount of money he offers or 'no deal' and keep opening boxes.
People usually gamble their chances and lose a lot of money!

Ash-Morgan - July 13, 2007 06:42 PM (GMT)
Is it a British or American show then????????

kohkoh - July 13, 2007 07:33 PM (GMT)
Ash have you never seen Deal Or No Deal with Noel Edmonds, Channel 4 everday at 4.15pm, the whole nation watches it I think.

Dr Rob explained it best. Fayik That is the American version, sounds a bit different to ours.

I got my Furby's last year for Christmas the board game, and after 3 boxes are opened, the bankers phone rings, that is why the Furby's like the game, they all try to be the banker so that they can ring the phone

jellybean - July 13, 2007 09:41 PM (GMT)
Yes, the 'American' version is quite different. At the beginning, the phone rings after six cases. Then five, then four, ect. Abd Howie Mandel hosts it.

Which reminds me, we have a show thats on in the mornings called The Price is Right, that was hosted by Bob Parker. However, Bob retired, :( and Rosie O'Donnel wants to replace him. I heard about this on the radio, and they said that if Rosie gets the job, she will be the first woman game show host in America. I don't think that's correct. When that show "The Weakest Link" first started, wasn't it hosted by a woman who appeared to be in her sixties? I don't know her name, but she was definately there!

furby5648 - July 14, 2007 03:02 AM (GMT)
 that so dose not sound correct :o I think that is a furby talking that little rumor around to all the furbys

Dr Rob - July 14, 2007 09:07 AM (GMT)
We have the price is right as well..... Do these gameshows come from America originally or UK?
