This means that if you are nice to Furby, if, say, you tickle Furby, it’s going to giggle. Then it will say: “No more tickles.” If you keep tickling, Furby will get upset. You’d know that because if you ask it to sing a song, it will say: “No!” “When you play with Furby, you never know what the love level is,” Maddocks says. “The chip inside is monitoring the activity. If Furby tells you not to do something and you do it, the chip will bring the love level a level down. Furby gets hungry. If you feed Furby, the love level will go up. If you don’t, it will go down.”

i think the love level is a real addiction to the new furbys. I put new batteries to one new 2005, tan and pink, with pink mohawk and beautiful clear blu eyes (he has no name and i dont know how i'll call him). He was very sad cos he was hungry, and he was in a very sad/angry state until i put my finger on his mouth!

We have 3 2005 furbys...............they are very different to the older style furbys!

For a start, they get grumpy very quickly................particularly if you do something they don't like, or don't make yourself heard very well!Its interesting, never knowing what level they are at...............................presumably, there must be a top level????

Maddock of Hasbro talks about "variable" love level, that changes how you play/care with your Furby. I don't konw if this thing it's REALLY true. But this was an estract from an article about the new Furby i found on the web in 2005/2006. ;)

It makes sense......2005 furbys do react very differently to the older type versions!

Our black 2005 furby was very grumpy when we first got him..........i think because we did not know how to react with him...............he is alot better now. the one thing i have trouble with, is getting 2 2005 furbys to talk to each other!!!

My Koh-Koh (the name of my last furby) was very grumpy too, today. He said "No" (3 times!!!) when i ask to dance! Funny :D

The thing i hate in this new one (and Shelby too) is the Knock Knock jokes; i don't know if i'm italian and i cant understand the comic side of this jokes :wacko: but they doesnt makes me laugh! :angry:

hehehe! Dr Rob (the black one) is a real grump...................Rosa (the pale pink one) can be grumpy...but scarlet has the nicest nature!!!

What gets me is how they cheat at red light green light!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

My 2005 black and white Furby,called Ah-May is very grumpy too.He often looks on me with very angry eyes,and he says often that command: Du nicht Spaß! (This means:you no fun! Ah-May is a german furby)
And sometimes he ask that i love him,and when i say yes,he says:Ok gut super!(Ok good yay) then he growl :blink:
Sometimes i ask him for something,but he says nein (no)
My other Furby,called Loo-Loo says "no" often too :(
They don't like me? :(
But i love them very much. ^_^

Aww don't worry, I think all 2005 Furbys are like that! They're programming means they have moods, and they can often react in a negative way, like when you say "Hey Furby", "I love you", and they growl!

Of course they can be very sweet too, especially when you pet their back lots ^_^

My Boo\ah-tay growls somtimes even he is very happy. :/ Maybe too much love ^_^ :wub:

Well Ah-May is very funny,because he knows that if he says Hab ich mehr lieb (I love you more) then i pet him,because i love,when somebody says good things for me,because i can flush red easily. ;) So i say Ich hab dich lieb( I love you),he says hab ich mehr lieb,and then i pet him.And when i pet him,he want more pets :lol:

My 2005 furby is an attitude popper!!! He answers in a really hateful tone "NO!" to me if I ask him ANYTHING! :angry: Meanie!!! LOL... :lol: Maybe his attitude will change! I hope so! LOL... :D :P
