 I cryed... Over mulberry. Oh, well... I want to know where she went... Is she going to a good home? Will they play with her? Cas? Furbytrone? Adopt a furby? Dr Rob? Lordofthedragons? I hope one of you got her! Then I would know that she is gonna be mee-mee noo-loo!

Mulberry only just got adopted, she's going to a nice home in Devon, which is a place in the UK where a lot of people go on holiday. It's got nice beaches and food and places to explore, so I bet she'll be really happy in her new home :D

'Fraid I didn't adopt Mulberry but I'm sure she will love Devon, I used to live there, its a great place, nowhere far from the sand and sea and gorgeous scenery :) I'm sure you'll soon see another furby you'd like to adopt :)

Yeah... ;) ^_^

Lucky you having lived in Devon Cas - it's the first place I ever went on holiday and I loved it there. We went to this beach where all the shingle and rocks were black, and it had the most amazing rockpools B) Though where you live now sounds pretty nice too

Those places sound so nice! How do you know that mulberry is going there?

Cos I work at Adopt a Furby - lucky me eh! B)

But Weeco - how do you manage to part with any of the furbys? :( I would be so sad every time I had to say goodbye to one and wish it luck in its new life :) The stock would just get bigger and bigger all the time

Cool! What type of job do you do? ^_^

Weecoo - October 1, 2007 01:59 PM (GMT)
Yes it is difficult sometimes, especially with certain "special favourites". Though of course I know from the moment they arrive that they're not mine, so I don't get too attached. If it came to selling Furbys from my own personal Furby family then that would be a different matter, I couldn't do that!

Furby Lover Forever, I help to take pics of the Furbys and put them online for adoption, and package them up when they're ready to go ^_^

Weecoo has the best job ever working with Furby's, I would keep them all ;)

Cool!!! I want to do a job there. What type of jobs are there? And since you work there, I have a question! I want to sell Baby furby and adult furby slippers!!! I made slippers for them! And I wanted to put a homemade magazine for sale too! ^_^ What kind of jobs are there in adoptafurby?

We're only small at the moment (though there always seems to be lot of work to do  ), but actually next May/June (2008) we are hoping to take one or two school pupils on for work experience for just a few weeks - that will be for Adopt a Furby, and also for another electronic pet website which will be starting up later this year or the beginning of next year.

Tasks with Adopt a Furby will include assessing Furbys, taking their portraits, putting them online for adoption, answering questions from customers, adding new features to the website, making adoption packages and sending the Furbys.

And with the other electronic pet website, tasks will mainly be logging stock, making adoption packages, dispatching the pets, taking phone calls, and maintaining the website.

By Christmas 2008 hopefully it will be possible for another person to get a job with the two shops, as Christmas is always busy, and there will be a lot of work to do! ^_^

OOOOOOOOO! I wonder... Are you having a contest??? I want to try it if you do! Wow, That would be fun to try and learn something new about the furbys! Hey, I would do it! hehehehehe... I'm in 8th grade! I have about 15 furbys and a japanese furby on the way! ^_^ Konichiwa!

Weecoo - October 4, 2007 03:35 PM (GMT)
It's not a contest really, we'll just see who's interested  Will probably be local schools, as in year 10 in the UK school children go on 2 weeks of work experience in May/June. It's a shame you live so far away
