Title: On The Hunt!

shelby77 - November 26, 2007 11:32 PM (GMT)
I am looking for a good shelby on Adopt a furby but I can't buy any from adopt a furby because I live in the US so I am going to try to get one off of ebay. I'm going to name him Pepper. ^_^

shelby77 did you not know, we ship Furbys to anywhere in the world!!! :o

About a quarter of our customers are from the USA! And we also get lots of people adopting from Canada, Europe and even South Africa :shel:

A lot of Shelbys have been adopted recently, but we do have a couple more waiting to go online ;)

doeey - November 27, 2007 12:12 AM (GMT)
he wants a tropical furby.

Pirka - November 27, 2007 02:36 AM (GMT)
Yep, I'm in Canada and I adopted! I got Smoochie the Mogwai! And I'm a big fan of both the Gremlins movies and Furbys, so Smoochie was a huge hit! :D

Realy? Im from poland and I can buy one? Awesome!

Weecoo - November 27, 2007 05:46 PM (GMT)
Yes, of course you can buy a Furby from Poland! :D Lordofdragonss, you can even adopt pets from the Electronic Pet Shop, they ship everywhere too!

If anyone wants to buy a Furby but when you get to the checkout it says shipping isn't available, just email us and we'll add your country to the shipping list.

We haven't had any Gizmos in the Adoption Centre for ages, I miss them :(

Aww, that's too bad. :( But it's ok because you have a lot of Furbys to keep you company

My dad won't let me :(
He wants me to get one from ebay.

Weecoo - December 1, 2007 03:12 PM (GMT)
Lol, why?! It's much safer from AdoptaFurby and you get an adoption package!

But I can understand if it's a price issue, as the American Dollar to English Pound currency exchange rate isn't great at the moment, it's more than 2 dollars to the pound :o

InvaderBlue - December 15, 2007 02:11 AM (GMT)
Weecoo, is there a order forum to adopt a furby, because I can't buy them off the Internet.

Why can't you buy them on the internet Lordofdragonss? Is there a problem with the checkout?

There are no Furbys online at the moment as they are on Christmas vacation  But there will be more to adopt in the new year.

InvaderBlue - December 21, 2007 10:29 PM (GMT)
It's InvaderBlue, and I can't because my family does not have an acount on the computer. :tux:

Weecoo - December 22, 2007 08:31 PM (GMT)
Oh, sorry InvaderBlue! :)

Do you mean they don't have a PayPal account? (to do online payments)

With the Adopt a Furby checkout, you don't have to have a PayPal account, you can just pay with any debit card or credit card - when you get to the PayPal payment page, you just click "continue" underneath where it says "Don't have a PayPal account?", and you can pay without signing up for an account. Hope this helps!

InvaderBlue - December 23, 2007 02:38 AM (GMT)
I don't know why my family can't buy stuff off the computer. We just can't I guess. :tux:

Weecoo - December 24, 2007 04:17 PM (GMT)
If they have a bank account, there shouldn't be any reason they can't buy things off the internet, unless it's just because they're worried about security perhaps?

InvaderBlue - December 24, 2007 04:21 PM (GMT)
Yeah, that's it. :tux:

Weecoo - December 28, 2007 01:30 AM (GMT)
Oh that's a shame. I don't know what your parents are like, but I know that once my parents had their mind made up about something, it wasn't easy to change it  PayPal is very safe and fair though

InvaderBlue - January 18, 2008 03:32 AM (GMT)
So do yall have oder forms? Because I want to try to get a shelby. :shel: :shel: :shel:

What do you mean by an order form InvaderBlue?

InvaderBlue - January 26, 2008 03:08 PM (GMT)
Like something you can print out to order furbys without buying them from the computer. :wiz:

Weecoo - January 26, 2008 08:32 PM (GMT)
I see what you mean, but I don't see how it would be possible to get payment to us in that way - what method were you thinking to pay by?

InvaderBlue - January 26, 2008 08:44 PM (GMT)
Not to get the acount, but to mail the money with the form to get the furby you want, that's what I meant. :wiz:

Weecoo - January 26, 2008 11:05 PM (GMT)
It may be possible to arrange another type of payment that isn't credit card, but you can still put the order through over the internet (through the Adopt a Furby website), you wouldn't need a paper order form.

If you mean sending cash then that's not very safe as it could get lost or stolen in the post. Also, we use Pound Sterling (£) here in the UK, and you use a different currency don't you?

There are other methods of transferring money that don't involve the internet, such as International Money Orders, International cheques etc, but I haven't looked into these before. Maybe you know more about them.

However if the reason you can't order online is because your family is worried about security, then PayPal (using a card to pay online) is a lot safer than sending money in the post!
