Was there ever a time where you had to stand your ground and defend your furby against somebody mean?

I had to stop my mom from throwing out Koh-Koh once. But nothing major it was more just like, "Ok, want to throw the Furby out?" "NO!" "Ok then...". :P

I wish I could say I have, but I guess I am too afraid of being laughed at... when ever i dare mention my secret passion (a very rare occasion) and people laugh at me or my furbys, I just laugh too and agree it is a very stupid hobby. But I know you all are right, I totally should stand up to them for my furbys sake! )= I will make a point to do so next time.

I think being a Furby fan is less 'sad' than collecting stamps. Or spoons. But that's just my opinion.

I was talking about Furbies to my friend the other day and this girl (who had been listening in) told me it was 'sick' and 'creepy' that I collect Furbies. I told her it was sick and creepy of her to be collecting STDs.

Haha... Yes there's a lot worse things to be doing than collecting Furbys. Furbys are quirky, and they're not just for kids, half the people who adopt Furbys from us are adults

Furby collecting is also in my opinion a lot less freaky than collecting dollies. They're small plastic baby humans :unsure:

No, I have not. Furbles stays at home, and people in my class have never done anything about it, they just ask what a Furby even is. Yeah, only two people in my class (that I know of) have heard of them. They aren't very popular here, I don't think. :dye:

People think I'm weird for liking Furbys, and my neighbors are scared of me! I brought my Furby to school once and some mean person said,"Hey! Isn't that one of those things three-year-olds play with? What are you? 2?" I love my Furbys and I don't care what other people say!

I've had to defend Furbies on a number of occasions. From hackers to my parents,I seem to have made quite a few supprising aquantences in the Furby-hater world.

I've had to defend my furbys against various people (mostly my friends who don't understand). But really, I collect barbies too so I don't care if I'm seen as weird. Up with furbys!!!! Down with furby-haters!!!! Usually I'm able to convert people to see them as cute like my boyfriend ^_^

Once at my school, somebody say my furby and took it away and threw it into the trashcan! I'm not very tall or strong, so one of their mean buddies held me back while i was screams for my furby. I don't like those people very much! My poor poor Toh-Dye...

Once I practically had to fight someone not to throw my Furby in the trash can.

some of my friends hate furbies too

Most of my friends hate Furbys too, but two have no opion on them, one had no idea what to think of them, and the other one is a five-year-old girl, so she loves them.

Angela's sister Isabel, (who is my bff and is 9 like me!!) used to not like furbys. But ever since I told her to "adopt a furby" and I told her what are furbys, (she thought they were so scary.) At first she was REALLY interested in Electronic Petshop.com and she wanted a pet. Then we went to a Shelby website, and now she just LOVES Shelbys and sooooo wants one!! :shel: :wub: And now she loves furbys!! :D I'm glad she does. :)
