Title: Missing Eyelash(es)

Jasper - December 5, 2007 12:46 AM (GMT)
I've just bought a Furby with a missing eyelash. How would I go about replacing it? Is it something I could do myself? Or should I seek help from a professional Furby Dr?

Or would it be simpler just to remove the other one so the eyes match (or else have a clockwork orange-esque furby)?

xx Jasper

From what I've heard you can use double sided tape to re-add them yourself. I'm not sure if it works because I've never done it personally, but I've heard stories of many others on this forum doing it sucessfully. ^_^

Just don't use glue. *ever*. Itt'l make your poor Furby's eye glue shut.

Oh yes, NEVER EVER EVER use glue! I used it on my baby furby when I was younger (lol 10 =D) and... now she can't shut her eyes all the way.... =) and it looks all nasty and gloopy. <3

Hmmm...

If you have the old Diva Starz toy from Tiger, you could probably take one of those eyelashes, cut them to size, and stick them on with a little double sided tape.

Just throwing that out there. :D

I'm thinking of getting some fancy eyelashes (with glitter or something) for my Furby, and glam her up (:

VERY Noticeable. Would you notice if YOUR eyelashes were missing? :P B)

I've been meaning to try fake eyelashes on a Furby for ages, but have never got round to it. We get quite a lot of Furbys coming in with missing eyelashes, but we always seem to find spare Furby ones, so I haven't had an excuse to find some glittery/diamonte or colourful ones yet

I know they'd need to be trimmed down if you got human ones, and you'd need to make sure you got quite thick ones for it to look good, as some false eyelashes are really sparse and spindly

The eyelashes on Toh-Loo-Kah Speckles came out great when you put in new ones. They are holding up just fine! :D

It'd be cool to have a sparkly eyelashed furny though B)
