I have 2 2005 furbys and I got used to them. I opend an early chrisrmas present (hee hee) and the scariest little thing was staring at me. Why is it so much smaller then the 2005 ones? I also couldn't understand a thing it said. I've had it for 5 mins, and it's already in a locked room. What's wrong with it?

My advise is try getting used to it more (believe me, they grow on you ;D) and if it doesn't get any better send it the the Adoption Center, where someone who will love it can adopt it and it will stop scaring you! <3 I do believe you get a small payment for doing so from AdoptaFurby.com; am I correct?

Or you can always just send him straight to me... ; )

I have edited the topic title as I think it was a bit of an inappropriate (and foolish! :rolleyes: ) thing to post on a forum full of members who adore the original 1998 Furby. You must have got used to the 2005 Furby and thought they should all be like that.

A lot of people loved the original Furbys from when they first came out, and many think the 2005 Furbys are weird looking and weird sounding and too big. And of course there are also many people who love both. It's just whatever you're used to.

Maybe you could post a photo of the Furby so we can see it - it may not be a genuine Furby if it's as scary as you say, it's probably a fake, there are a lot of strange fakes out there! And if you don't like it after a few days, I think adoption to find it a new home may be on the cards :lol: We do take in fake Furbys as well as real ones ;)

well I've had him for a while now, he's still kinda strange, and I wasn't happy when I got six more, but now he's kinda cute. My dog always gets confused because his name is koh koh and here name coco. he's banana peel and I think I'll keep him.

p.s. I saw a lot of poor unwanted (yet clean) furbys on e-bay, but they are a bit out of my price range, so if I donate it to the center, how much will I get?

i don't think you get payed to "donate" your furbys to the adoption centre.
