Ok if someone could point me to the direction i need to be going... but i can't find anything in here on chapter 4 that answers this question... "What two conditions led to the success of the colony of Pennsylvania?" i can't find it anywhere.

or "What effect did British economic policy have on the economy of the American colonies in the 17th century?"

"What did the factors of population, economics, disease, and climate shape the basic social conditions and ways of life of early Americans in both the south and New England?"

"How did the harsh climate and soil, stern religion, and tightly knit New England town shape the "Yankee character"?"

"Compare the conditions of the 17th century social, economic and religious life in New England and the Chesapeake region."

How did the Salem witch episode reflect the tensions and changes in the 17th century New England?"

I don't necessarly want someone to answer them just to where i can find the answers so that I can type it up tonight. Thanks to whom ever!

Are you sure that these are all from Chapter 4? I'm looking at the Chapter 3 notes and I'm seeing a lot of information about Pennsylvania.

As for the other ones, there's a lot of information in Chapter 4 - try the sections "Southern Society," "Life in the New England Towns," "The Half-Way Covenant and the Salem Witch Trials," "The New England Way of Life" and "The Early Settlers' Days and Ways."

Hope that helps. :)
