Supreme Court Upholds Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act
WASHINGTON — The Supreme Court upheld the nationwide ban on a controversial abortion procedure Wednesday, handing abortion opponents the long-awaited victory they expected from a more conservative bench.
The 5-4 ruling said the Partial Birth Abortion Ban Act that Congress passed and President Bush signed into law in 2003 does not violate a woman's constitutional right to an abortion. |
Alleluia! Finally, a good ruling on Abortion. So there you have it, Partial Birth abortions are officially illegal and the law stating that is constitutional. Now all we need is a ban on abortion in general, and for THAT law to be upheld.

I agree with banning the partial birth abortion but i don't think it would be good to ban all abortions and don't think that a ban on all abortions will ever happen
It is a start, but I am just going to guess that when some one wants an abortion, they won't wait until the third trimester to do it. Still, if the Supreme Court ruled and this and made it constitutional, it is only a matter of time.
