How would an average N.E Colonist respond to Patrick Henry's "Give me Liberty or Give Me Death" and Thomas Paine's "Common Sense (Thoughts on Present State of American Affairs)"?
I'm having trouble with this one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Well I don't like just dishing out answers, so where exactly are you having trouble? This seems fairly straightforward to me - just talk about how the average New Englander of the time felt about the Revolutionary ideas presented by Henry and Paine.
Just keep this in mind....Were those works more Loyalist or Patriotic? And were New Englanders more Loyalist or Patriotic?
