This is my first time taking an AP class and i need some help. I need 3 events for a Nation History Day essay. I'm really stuck. The outline for the topics is due soon and all i have is the civil war. I'm hoping to do Communism in america but i fear that won't have enough primary sources.
As of right now, i have an obvious one, the Civil war with a couple of primary sources, but i really don't want to do that. Can someone help me out?

I'm asking for just some ideas that i could do, that would have a good source of both primary and secondary sources.

So just important events from American history that have primary and secondary sources you can access? Do you have a book or something of all the primary sources available or can you get them online, or what? Because if you can get stuff off the Internet, this shouldn't be a problem at all.

As for events, well, if you just want three of the most pivotal events in American history, I'd suggest the Revolutionary War, the Civil War and World War II. Those are, in my opinion, the most significant wars from American history, and the amount of data and documents on them is staggering. If you need things that are more specific than that, let me know because I'm still not entirely sure what you're asking for.

Look for any books with the word "annals" in the title, they're often a collection of primary sources from certain eras.
