Description: studying 5 chapters at once
hist_teen - November 29, 2006 12:19 AM (GMT)
Hey-
Does anyone have a good studying idea? My teacher is testing us on 5 chapters all at once and doesn't really help us learn the information. If you have any suggestions please let me know.

Reread the notes, focus on key events, and have a handle on the important people in government and society at the time.
One thing that always helped me was to know all the presidents in order for each era we studied. By being able to just rattle off the names and dates of the presidents, it was much easier to remember what was going on in each time period since I could try and remember the political party and major actions of each president better when I had them in chronological order.

thanks so much, that helps...
...if anybody else has suggestions, please add on :)

If it's five chapters all at once, he might be testing you on how they're all conected or something along those lines. As you're studying stop every once-in-a-while and think about what's going on and how it's all related.
Hope that helps, and good luck! :)

I just had a test on 4 chapters today. It wasn't that bad at all after reading the notes twice and just sketching out a brief timeline of major events. That helps me keep everything related!

We always have tests on 4 chapters at a time
And sometimes they have nothing to do with eachother except that they come after one another.
Oh boy, I love my teacher >.>
(No offense to any really good teachers out there)
