Title: I'm so horny!
Description: I'm not horny, I just need help

My teacher (Ms. Seeger) told us that there is a list vocab on this website (about 200 words) any1 know where is it?

dimmick - August 31, 2006 04:27 AM (GMT)
Sorry, but as far as I know, there is no section just devoted to a list of vocabulary on apnotes.net. There are important terms and concepts bolded within the actual notes themselves, and there are links to other sites that might have such a list (I haven't checked so I don't know), but I'm pretty certain that there is not an official apnotes.net vocabulary list.

Perhaps you should ask your teacher for clarification.

My teacher gave our class a list. I don't know where he got it, but at the bottom it says, "CRACKING THE AP U.S. HISTORY EXAM" on one side of the page and "KEY TERMS AND CONCEPTS" on the other. It's 8 pages long, the first word on the list is Roanoke and the last is (I'm not kidding) Star Wars  . The second to last is Iran-Contra Scandal.

That probably didn't help much, but I tried. :D

BTW, I suggest someone changes the topic name <_< ;)

Yea, my teacher gave us a list of ID terms that he said came with the textbook that he had narrowed down...maybe it's in the teacher's edition?

Hmm. I don't seem to recall such a list from my time in APUSH... would one of you be able to scan it and post it for everyone to see?

lol, StarWars...
I wish that had worked out a little better, what with North Korea and all.

I found out it's from a book called "Cracking the AP U.S. History Exam". The list I have is from pages 156 to 173 in the "Key Terms and Concepts" section. I'll see if I can type out the list, but not this week (end of term :o )

dimmick - October 22, 2006 10:00 PM (GMT)
Awesome, thanks. :)

Almost done typing it, but do you want me to e-mail it to notes@apnotes.net or something else? (You're the guy that runs the site, right? Because I got an e-mail from him and it had a different name.)

dimmick - November 2, 2006 11:18 PM (GMT)
No, I don't run the site - a friend of mine does. I just moderate the forums. If you want to email it to him that's fine, but if you want to email it directly to me than you can send it to johndimmick at gmail dot com.

I finally have it done =) It took longer than I expected, so sorry :) I'm working on e-mailing it through Microsoft Word, and it's been having a few problems, so I'll get it worked out and mailed as soon as I can. I'll mail it to you cuz it's easier for you to explain everything.

It's from a book (like I said before) so it has chapter names on it that don't have anything to do with The American Pageant. Other than that it's in order and covers everything :D

dimmick - November 22, 2006 04:37 AM (GMT)
Awesome, thanks a bunch!

1800 - November 23, 2006 04:10 PM (GMT)
I can't send it to your email for some reason  . My dad is working on fixing it, but if there's another way to get it too you then that would work.

Or, I could send it too him with a message to him saying you'de explain, if that would work. :)

Nevermind! I mailed it to my dad  , I got your message.

Thanks :)

Is this list located anywhere on this site now? Thanks!

cumbaya19 - November 15, 2007 02:47 AM (GMT)
i need it too

1800 - November 16, 2007 12:27 AM (GMT)
I still have the book and the list, but the computer I had it on sort of blew up. I mailed it to dimmick but I don't know if he still has it. It's in the princeton review cracking the apush test. That book saved my life. If you need it badly i can type it up for you =)

cumbaya19 - November 18, 2007 11:28 PM (GMT)
i really need it...it would be a huge help!

1800 - November 20, 2007 01:34 AM (GMT)
Alright, I'll see if i can type it over christmas break. I'll be busy over thanksgiving break cuz i'm going to DC with my APUSH/now-government teacher the week after.

...and I'm one of the 5 that gets to go in the Oval Office and West Wing!!!!!! :D I'll tell you guys all about it.

cumbaya19 - November 20, 2007 03:07 AM (GMT)
Thanks!
Probably wont do much the next 3 weeks anyways.
Congrats on the trip...does that mean you're top5 in state?

dimmick - November 20, 2007 11:25 AM (GMT)
I still have it somewhere in my email and I would be happy to dig it up - what email address would you have used to send it to me?

I seem to recall that the reason Ian and I never put it up on the main site is that there was some difficulty getting in contact with you regarding things like attribution, releases and things like that, but if you're still around on the forums, perhaps we can hammer those issues out and get the list up.

CLKeenan - November 29, 2007 04:59 AM (GMT)
You could always go to Course-Notes.Org. There is vocabulary listed by the chapter there. You can also search for words as well.
