I think that's too broad of a topic - I might be able to pick standout politicians from specific time periods, but "history" is just too general. I mean, can you really compare Alexander the Great to Adolf Hitler, Charlemagne to Otto von Bismarck or Julius Caesar to Ronald Reagan? I dunno, I think that there are certainly politicians and leaders that have had more influence and stand out from the crowd more than others, but I don't think I can pick any one person and say that they are historically "greater" than any other person.

Also, politician is a very elastic definition. Adolph Hitler was as much a politician as, say, Henry Clay or even a current senator. Specify what you mean, WilliamPennHigh. Then we'll give ya some feedback.

what do you mean by the greatest politician? good one who did best for citizens or one who was really smart for his politician life and made cunning decisions?
telll me that do u need from US only or World wide?
