I can't find the exact quote on the internet, but I remember it was something like "how much did the role of woman change from 1800-1860" or something like that.

There were a lot of complaints. My teacher didn't teach that year, but he said if he did, he would have changed everyone's grade to an A for the whole year because it was so rediculouse.

Try asking your teacher for a list. My teacher has a list of all of them since 1972 or something. I'll try to get the exact question :)

Yeah, the role of women did not even really take a noticable change until 1890 to about 1920. Are you sure the years weren't somewhere around those dates as opposed to the 1860's?

Not entirely sure, but I'll ask my teacher tomorrow, when I have the class.
