Title: Varying Viewpoints?
Description: Fadedd handout...

I have a hand out which is basically the whole of Chapter one minus pages 2 and 3 (why I don't know). There's a worksheet that goes with it that just askes you to do simple things, such as identifying important themes and people; a chapter review sheet. It has a question on there which asks you whether or not you agree with the "Varying Viewpoints" section of the chapter.

Now here's my problem - The packets are sort of faded out, so the darker areas are completely black. I'm not sure whether the paragraph at the end of the chapter, after the "The Plantation Colonies" section, is the Varying Viewpoints section. If it helps, it starts and ends with:

"The history of discovery and the earliest colonization raises perhaps the single most important fundamental question about all of American history. ... This approach stresses the adaptaions of native, African, and European cultures... and emphasizes the creation of a uniquely American society and culture."

Please help!

An excellent question... unfortunately, I no longer have a copy of the book, so I can't help. Sorry!

Anyone have a book and can help this guy out??

Generally, when confronted with such silliness, I don't do the impossible bit, and simply tell the teacher "I couldn't read it."
