Title: Iraq 2007

Yesterday in the news it gave a story about four english speaking, blond haired men drive up to an Iraqi compound in an American SUV. They were granted entry because they "seemed" American. It ended up they were four terrorists who took captive for Americans and slatered them.

I know that we have had discussions about this in the past, but with violence escalating, new troop serges, a Dem controlled Congress...any new views or opinoins on Iraq 2007. Mine have changed slightly.

I almost forgot, they said the four "American" terrorists were too well trained for a random terrorist organization and sources say Iran was behind. What are your views on the Iran situation?

And to give some info for the opposing side, an American helicoptor crashed the other day near a militant holy city. Those two Americans were the only ones killed while 250 militant militia men were fell to there death in the battle. It's not like we can't beat these guys.

Anyway, I just did not want to seem bias and sway anyone.

I am currently pro Iraq war for one simple reason.

In 2003, Presdient Bush declared that he would "take the fight to the terrorists." And he has. Right now the crazy extremist bastards and Al-Qaida are busy fighting our marines instead of our civilians. This is what we wanted. Want to know how to win an uncoventional war? Make 'em fight conventianally, against our marines and our army. IF we weren't there, it would honsetly NOT improve anything. All it would do is make the terrorists fighting our marines in Iraq contemplate how to fight our civilians here.

You bring up some good points.

Look at the terrorist plots we have foiled since then (British-American flight explosions). If our troops were not there right now fighting, the terrorists would be here and people take that for granted.
