Kaiser-Wilhelm-Gedächtniskirche

Valemat Territory
Located in Breitscheidplatz, the center of former West Berlin, this rather peculiar church is a WWII monument with two opposite-looking bell towers. One is the remnant of the original church before the war, nowadays called the “hollow tooth” because of the broken roof, and the second one was built in 1961, made of concrete and blue glass-bricks and built in the shape of a hexagonal cylinder. An octagonal church also stands beside the old tower, opposite of its counterpart, and a Gedenkhalle (Memorial Hall) below the old west tower, containing photographs, original artifacts, and documentations of the church, both before and after the war. However, it isn’t this in which the Valemat Clan’s HQ are located. In fact, it’s actually located ten feet beneath the church in an undiscovered and surprisingly, unused crypt that came out unharmed by the war. The Gedächtniskirche Crypt is about the size of a medium- to small-sized house and has been modified by the Valemat Clan to contain electricity, a fridge, and all those other fun accessories and necessities.

Schloss Charlottenburg

Kumemat Territory
This beautiful baroque palace was built in 1695 by King Friedrich Wilhelm I as a summer residence for his beloved wife, Queen Sophie Charlotte. Hidden away in the lush Royal Gardens are several smaller buildings: the ornate rococo Belvedere, containing an impressive collection of porcelain; the Schinkel Pavilion which houses drawings, paintings, sculptures, furniture and porcelain by Karl Friedrich Schinkel; and the neoclassical Mausoleum containing the tombs of Queen Louise, King Friedrich Wilhelm III, Emperor Wilhelm I and Empress Augusta. Beneath the beautiful marble and wooden floors lies many hidden chambers, some larger than the basement itself (which spans the entire castle), and some as small as a wine cellar. The Kumemat clan resides beneath this massive castle and tourist attraction, carefully keeping their secrets hidden from the humans.

Berliner Dom

Built in 1905, the Berliner Dom was set on the historic "Museum Island" in the Spree River. Originally built by the last German Emperor and King of Prussia as a gift to the Hohenzollern family as a court-cathedral, this building's structure was quite different from what it is today. However, during WWII this amazing cathedral was hit by a firebomb and destroyed from lantern-dome to crypt. The cathedral was closed after that until 1993 when it was reopened to the public after being rebuilt. Although it no longer stands as tall as it originally did and the exterior was simplified, much of the interior design was restored, such as the 400-year-old crypt, the Sermon's Staircase, etc. This cathedral is simply a breath-taking structure and should be visited by both the religious and non.

Kreuzberg

Lying in the southwest of Berlin, this neighborhood is filled with anarchists and Turkish immigrants, a rather rough and sleazy area to be in. On a "prominent street corner" stands a bronze statue, sneering at the middle of Berlin in remembrance of those punks who rioted every year on May 1st "back in the day". This neighborhood is considered an "enter if you dare" kind of place. There have been frequent reports of tourists and un-local Germans have been jumped and thieved in this neighborhood. Nonetheless, Kreuzberg is filled with Turkish cafés and markets, wonderful bookshops, and plenty of intriguing art and music scenes. The one, main perk to Kreuzberg is that they say they support shifters, but many don't believe it wise to tell any Kreuzberg local whether or not one's a shifter or not. Kreuzberg locals aren't known for their trustworthy nature, after all.

Gendarmenmarkt

The Gendarmenmarkt is one of the most beautiful squares in Berlin, surrounded by the Concert Hall, the French and the German Cathedral. The center of the harmonious Gendarmenmarkt is crowned by a statue of German's famous poet Friedrich Schiller. The square was created by Georg Christian Unger at the end of the 17th century as the Linden-Markt. The Gendarmenmarkt is named after the curassier regiment Gen d'Armes which was deployed at this square until 1773. During the World War II most of buildings were badly damaged or destroyed. Today all buildings are restored to their former glory.
