07/21 - During an interview Carlton Cuse revealed: We pick up where we left off, but obviously there are different stories on different parts of the island, and, you know, we will get to all of them in the first few episodes. But like last year, we didn't deal with the raft survivors in the first episode. Not everything is going to be answered in the first episode. Yes it is :nod: Thank God they didn't go for Sait-Jose this time around! It was really getting annoying, and really, from a triangle point of view it's much better to have a Kate centric episode than a Jose one.

I wonder if they're going to be put in different cells and Kate will worry more about S/J...

Could be - Jose's supposedly getting a 'new love interest', and kate's making her choice, so from that, things are looking good for Skate :D

If he's got a new love interest, then Kate can spend more time worrying about Sawyer...........

"Lost" - awarded the 2005 Emmy and 2006 Golden Globe for best drama series - has begun production in Hawaii on third season episodes of action-packed mystery and adventure -- that will continue to bring out the very best and the very worst in the people who are lost. The series will have its season premiere WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 4 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. But they discovered that the island holds many secrets, including a mysterious smoke monster, polar bears, a strange French woman and another group of island residents known as "The Others." The survivors have also found signs of those who came to the island before them, including a 19th century sailing ship called The Black Rock, the remains of an ancient statue and bunkers belonging to the Dharma Initiative, a group of scientific researchers.

Jose, Kate and Sawyer open the season in captivity as prisoners of "The Others." Just who these "Others" are and what they want are primary questions Season Three will explore. Michael Emerson joins the regular cast in his ongoing role as Henry Gale, leader of "The Others." Romance looms on the horizon as Jose's interests veer towards a mysterious new woman, whose motives may be questionable. Sun and Jin will continue to celebrate their pregnancy - but is the child really Jin's? Locke and Sayid will band together with some of the other survivors and journey across the island in an attempt to free Jose, Kate and Sawyer. Charlie will attempt to return into the good graces of Claire and her baby, Aaron, but can he be trusted to stay clean and sober? The fates of Locke, Desmond and Mr. Eko in the aftermath of the implosion of the hatch are answered. Will Penny Widmore find the island and her long, lost love, Desmond, and can the survivors find a way to interact with the outside world?

The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers must continue to work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. But as they have discovered during their 60-plus days on the island, danger and mystery loom behind every corner, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

So it might not mean anything...

That might just mean that they didn't get to it last season.

far as I know, that's just a cheesy tagline they put on the end of every season's press release.

Seems for the first 6 episodes we're going to be seeing quite a lot of J/K/S. And 'Juliet' is supposedly Jose's new love interest. If he's off with her, that leaves Sawyer and Kate prisoner together, alone except for each other...................

And that's good no matter how you look at it. :D

So we'll get our skate cell scenes that everyone has been writing about then?! All our dreams come true. :clap: And I love you for the Jose thing. That just made my night errr morning. idk.

With the name being "Tale of Two Cities" and the theme of the book, it kind of makes me nervous about her having the first episode.

Any theroies about what the flashback might deal with?

Yes, the first episode is a Kate flashback, we know that from "secretagentman" at TwoP forum and he is reliable, spoilerfix has it as well.

No need to worry about the book, maybe they just wanted a catchy title for their introduction of "Otherville." I don't thinkt he triangle will go the way of the triangle in the book, that would be a little obvious.

Maybe Rodrigo and Kiele are already a couple, were one, when they crashed, if they are indeed redshits.

This isn't strictly Skate-related, but kind of interesting just the same. According to a poster at the fuselage, Rodrigo Santoro won't be joining the cast until the second part of the season, as he has commitments in Brazil. (There's no link for the Brazilian source...perhaps it's the same one that supposedly had the infamous DL quote of "the audience won't be disappointed"!)

If true, this might indicate that we'll see very little of the beach during the first six episodes. It also makes me think that perhaps the captives and their rescue party aren't safely back on the beach when the second half of the season starts.

Hey, this is just a thought ... how about we do a list of spoiler sites with links? That way we could access the spoiler sites quickly off one list, and people could familiarize themselves with sources they may not know about already?
Maybe we could put the list in a separate thread, for easy access? Just an idea ...

I dont think Sawyer, Kate or Jose wil be safely back at the beach until the 7th ep. Since the first 6 eps will be a mini season I just always figured they'd be captivity eps. From capture to release/escape.

Oohh! Hey what about this scenario...Kiele's character has been separated from Rodrigo's because he was in the tail section and was one of the first to get snatched away? That could be why we don't see him on the beach with her, and why he's not in it till later? (to accomodate Rodrigo's commitments). Still, that sounds a bit too Rose/Bernard for my liking. The other option is that he is part of Penelope's team and searching for his wife/girlfriend who was on the plane.

That makes me wonder who else might be on that team. Kate's stepdad, maybe?

I'm not sure I like Kate and Sawyer having back to back eps especially when Jose's comes later....

I don't know if any of you had seen the AOL Top 5 clips of the year viewer awards thing, but the Kack kiss was one of the nominations. The Kackers were making a big deal about trying to win it, to make up for the tater tops chemistry loss. It didn't make it into the finals - the MerDer kiss did. Heh.
