This question is alot harder than it looks! I watch alot of movies and it's hard to say one is my favorite, but if I had to pick one, I'd say it's Original Sin It's such a beautiful story and so Skatey it hurts!
"No, this is not a love story, but is a story about love and the power it has over life, the power to heal, or to destroy." *thud*

Moulin Rouge
Walk the Line
Munich
Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants (my treehouse movie!)
Notting Hill (makes me hopeful)
Elizabethtown (*sigh*)
The Notebook
there's more, but I can't really remember.
The English Patient is my all time favourite. it's so raw, so sad it hurts! Almasy is sort of a Sawyer, the rude, loner that likes to keep things to himself; Katharine is a Kate (not only in name, lol) strong willed and smart but still torn between two men.
*sigh*
it's s story about desperate, jealous love. and I love it.

Singing in the Rain
Beauty and the Beast
The original Star Wars trilogy.
I'm sure I'll think of more later.

rent (hooray for adapted musicals and idina menzel.)
phantom of the operaaa (love gerard butler, and satisfies my theatrical fix.)
les miserables (again, adapted musicals. and liam neeson's great.)
braveheart (something about the scottish accents. *le sigh*)
chocolat (johnny depp as an Irish gypsy... enough said.)
gone with the wind (although i like the book better.)
hunchback of notre dame (yes, the animated disney version. it fits in nicely with my victor hugo obsession, and the music's to die for.)

really liked the new superman movie.
i'm sure there are more, i just can't think of any off the top of my head.
